aleve didnt work for me yesterday, i havent taken any for 24 hours, is it ok to take another pain medicine?

Yeah, of course. I find that Aleve gel capsules work better than the regular pills, but you can also try something like Tylenol or Ibuprofen. There are lots of over-the-counter pain meds, but you'll have to find the one that works best for you.

Aleve only works for 12 hours. You can take what ever you want now because it is totally out of your system.

Yeah, sure. You should try the generic version of Ibuprofen at your local grocery store or pharmacy, it addresses pain as well as inflammation issues. It is over the counter and easy on your body...as long as you don't abuse it.

If you have liver problems you should be very careful about what medicines you consume. If you're really concerned, it wouldn't hurt to place a call to your family Doctor - that is why we pay them, isn't it?

Read the labels on the meds. THey all have their recommendations. If you still have questions call a local pharmacy. They are always happy to answer questions like that.

I always take something every 30 minutes if it doesn't work the first time around. I can't stand pain, so I try to avoid it at all costs.

try 2 alleve at a time or 3 motrin - thats what works without a perscription - (not both)
