This may sound like I'm being a smart mouth, but I'm not. Don't eat it. I used to eat raw cookie dough for lunch, I'm serious. I work for a major retailer, I just bought the package with the precut squares and chowed down.

I cleaned out the pantry and threw out all the junk. I told the family if you want junk food you better buy it on the way home and eat it in the car, 'cause it's not allowed in the house. I quit walking past the cooler that holds the cookie dough. I only go the the frozen dinner section and buy Lean Cuisine or Weight Watcher dinners. Weight Watchers has some great desserts so you can still have them. Their desserts have less sugar than regular so you get used to things being less sweet.

At home I have a selection of flavored ground coffees and my sugar jar has packets of equal in it. I hate fat free creamer so I use regular. Chocolate Velvet coffee, equal and creamer are quite satisfying.

The key is retraining your taste buds. If you don't eat sugar for three weeks and then have some it won't taste as good. I promise.

By the way, I've lost 30 lbs doing this.

I heard a great tip to curb a sweet tooth. Brush your teeth when you have a craving. You will get a sweet taste to satisfy your tounge, your teeth will be clean and you won't want to spoil your sweet minty breath.
