I am experiencing pain but it comes and goes. I didn't know if the early pain was constant or if it came and went. What were your symptoms?

When I felt a painful discomfort in my lower right abdomen and did the pressure test on my self, pushing in and then releasing, I felt the pain as described in texts and television about apendicitis. I went to the hospital and told the doctors what I thought. They said to let them decide that. After examining me, they agreed and I was sent in for emergency surgery.

Appuendicitus pain does come and go. It can also start in one area of the lower stomach and go to another part of the lower stomach. If it feels like cramping but not quite what you're used to, go to the doc. They always use the cliche' that "you're lucky, it was about to explode!" Mind you, they're usually right. People don't entertain the idea that it might be appendix and not cramps. Go to the Doctor now.
