I've had eating disorders as long as I can remember (I'm 26 now) about 6 months ago my Dr. said that I had obessive compulsive disorder and put me on Celexa for that and my bulimia. I use to be obessed about my weight. Now I feel much better.. I don't obsess anymore.. but I've gained 25lbs I'm 5'3'' and weigh 170! But I can't stop eating.. and I have no desire to work out. I use to be a work out fiend.. what do I do? My Dr. says I'm ok. and try to work out more.. But I can't get motivated. My joints are starting to hurt from all the weight. Any help would be wonderful!!!

Definitely see your doctor again, perhaps see if he will switch your medication.

Explain to him that although you are feeling better about the anxiety that comes from the ED and OCD you are worried about gaining too much weight (which is just as unhealthy).

It could defnitely be the meds that are causing your lack of motivation.

Try to find a sport that you enjoy, this could be your problem in getting motivated. If you aren't complulsive anymore maybe you have just become bored with your routine.

Good luck

This could be related to the medication but I would definitely recommend getting back in touch with your doctor to let him know how much the lack of motivation to exercise and the joint pain really bothers you. If he still won't listen then I would recommend getting another opinion and preferably from a doctor that does not share the same office of the one you currently use.
