so I'm sick, i have a runny nose, my back neck and shoulder hurt, i have a fever and the weird one was at first my throat really hurt like strip throat ok and i couldn't even talk but a guy i really liked called me so i forced myself to talk with him for a while and when we hung up i feel to the floor and coughed over and over agian and that turned into this throwing up think so i went into the restroom and i could feel the stuff in my throat and it go up my throat but it never came out of my mouth and right now i can still feel it and its horrible
but aww this is what scares me so i use to be fat but over last summer i worked out alot and got on a diet and i changed to not skinny but not fat just kind of inbetween u know and i loved it but right after the whole throwing up think i notoced my stomach felt weird and i looked down and aww its bigger like alot bigger aww please tell it'll go away i don't want to be fat again how could this happen do u know why this is happening plz help

I have some glasses that are probably like around 5 or 6 years old and i was wondering about how bad is 51/20. I would tell you what vision i have now, but i don't really know it, and if i can remember, i plan on asking the eye doctor when i go have my eyes checked again. The glasses that i have now aren't marked so i don't know for sure. 51/20 was what i found on the inside of the bridge of my old glasses. I'm just trying to get a general idea of my vision. I found out today thats its been about 3.5 years since i got my eyes checked, so i'm over due for one, lol.

I told my college professor about my mental illness, & she pretended to feel sorry for me, & then when I asked her about any exams I missed, due to absences because of my illnesses, she got rude with me. I even have a doctor's excuse & she won't even tell me what tests they took this week. I was sick with anxiety & depression symptoms all week. She said she doesn't remember what tests she gave, & she's the professor. How could she forget? & we're not on point with the syllabus. & she tried to make it like I was being lazy & irresponsible. Yesterday I was so depressed & stressed out that I attempted suicide & tried to drown myself, & my friend jumped in the bath tub & tried to save me. So when the professor told me what she told me, I felt even worse. I had an anxiety attack last week & the professor "pretended" to console me & sympathize. I'm really mentally hurting to the point where it's interfering with my daily life.

ok look it up on wikipedia but theres this new invention called the Rapex, its this condom worn by the women, that has all these little hooks on the inside of it, so if a man trys to rape them they get thousands of tiny barbs that have to be surgicly removed. I personality think its a tiny bit paranoid that for a women to take such percations. Like, "crap, i just got raped, cant believe i forgot the Rapex" right, but also kinda a good idea. I've been working as a dentists assistant for the last few months, but I'm still having a bit of trouble paying off my student loans. The other day while I was doing a tooth pulling I came up with the idea to make some extra money on the side. Do you know of anyone who buys teeth and if so is there a way I could sell them on the down low? Also, do you think its unethical to tell patients that they need their teeth pulled when they really don't? I really need the money. It's not unethical to resell people's teeth is it? I mean they don't need them anymore, right?

The information out there is confusing....I got tested religously, sometimes twice a year, with pap smears and blood tests for stds. I found out that on Tuesday I have Herpes 2 after breaking out in bumps early that morning. We are still waiting for results...Websites say that the initial breakout happends 2-14 days after contact. My man had no visible sores- NOTHING- But the websites say that you don't have to have sores- AHHHH- in addition, they say the virus can lay dormant??? But wouldn't my STD tests still come back positive??

My boyfriend had surgery yesterday to get a plate and 8 screws removed from his collar bone. When he woke up, we (mother, father, and me) were allowed to see him. He was deathly pale, and looked extremely blotchy. Like all the blood vessels in his face had popped into little dots.

We immediately asked the nurse about this and she said it was a little unusual for him to be doing that but that it could just be from having been put under so late in the day. She then assured us that he would be fine. (it was time for closing, she wanted us out of there).

The next morning (today), none of the blotchy-ness has gone away AND now there are popped blood vessels in both of his eyes. I gave him a benadryl and then we called the doctor. He said the benadryl should been fine and that he was probably allergic to some medicine he was given in the procedure. That we shouldn't worry.
I'm looking at him tonight, he looks not well, but feels fine. His eyes are very swollen and red. Go to ER?

It has been going on for only four days, but I have been living with back pain for years (I am 24) and coping without a doc or generally complaining.
My left side hurts deeply, like nothing else I have ever felt.
I had a full blood panel a few months ago (just an annual checkup, no reason), and the only slightly abnormal things were SLIGHTLY elevated glucose and liver enzymes. Triglycerides were also more than slightly high. Monocytes were VERY high (I have psoriasis, so my doc and I attributed it to this)... I don't think any of this is related, but thought I would add just in case.

ok, me and my boyfriend had alot of unprotected sex for months on end trying to get me pregnet. well i took 2 tests and 1 came up negitive and the next invalid. a week later i was cramping and bleeding so bad i was crying in the back seat of the car begging my sister to drive faster to get pain killers and tampons. i had a temp of 103.2 and my pulse was 137. well i got over it and stoped bleeding for almost a week, and now im bleeding heavy again.no cramping or pain just lots of blood. a little help??? wuts up with this???

ok, I was 6.05 tall, Now im around 5.11.5", I've gain around 40 lbs in the past few months. Maybe 9-12 months. Can it be that getting fat make you lose height? If so..Thats crazy!?!?!

I do know that losing weight makes you taller..Not taller but it makes you as tall as you are supposed to be.

Hi, I'm 33 years old and my blood test shows my progesterone level is very low. I've been having irregular periods and breasts pain. About a week ago, my left breast (between my breasts) was in pain. It wasn't sharp pan, more like dull pain (I can feel the pain when I press) Then about a couple days ago, both of my breasts were in pain. I am waiting for my period to come. I'm wondering if my breast pain is due to low progesterone level. Also, I heard low progesterone level can cause breast cancer. I went to my OB and he did a physical exam. He didn't find anything but I'm very concerned because the pain won't go away. Please help

i am a 20yr old female from wisconsin, when i bend over i get very short of breath and very exahuasted, this also happens when walking up the stairs or just laying in bed or sitting in a chair talking to someone, im not anxious or stressed, i am overweight i am 5'7 and 235 pounds, would this be the whole reason that this is happening or would there be another underlying reason?

A friend of mine has developed a skin disorder that looks kind of like athlete's foot on his fingers. It gets bumpy and starts to pus, and then on his knees, he has these sort of balls that stick out, like a little smaller than golf balls, covered in dry skin. He refuses to go see a doctor. Any idea what this could be or how to treat it? Thank you so much for answering.
