ok, I was 6.05 tall, Now im around 5.11.5", I've gain around 40 lbs in the past few months. Maybe 9-12 months. Can it be that getting fat make you lose height? If so..Thats crazy!?!?!

I do know that losing weight makes you taller..Not taller but it makes you as tall as you are supposed to be.

Its the tendency of your joints and spine to compact due to the extra weight. You will notice that as you get fat, the pants you wear will also be a shorter length. Once you lose that weight, the length of your pants will be 1-3 lengths longer.

Extra weight collapses the arch in your foot and compresses the distance between the vertabrae in your spine, both of which detract from your height.

Mmmmm, I've never heard of that but, it can be that when a person carries excess weight it puts a strain on their body so their posture changes and they tend to "slump" down.

Extra weight carried around your abdomen can pull your spine out of alignment, giving it more curve than it normally would have. Because the spine is more curved, it doesn't reach as high, causing you to 'shrink'.
