I have myopia and astigmatism(-.75) in both eyes my doctor made me choose between toric lenses and soft spherical lenses that offer less than perfect vision but are more comfortable. I wear the spherical lenses, but now I'm not comfortable with seeing close objects , it's kinda blurry !!
is it possible that he increased my prescription to kinda compensate for the astigmatism and that's what made my close vision bad? and if so does this have any long term side effects?
eyeglasses prescripyion > sph. -1.75 cyl. -.75 for both eyes

I workout alot, not to loose weight, to gain muscle.
i have a very similar stomach to hers (below) but if you view the pictures i cirlced this part of her body i want to know what its called!

I went to my doctor on Wednesday and asked him what I should do for my athlete's foot. I showed it to him and he said, "This is going to sound crazy but soak you feet in a small tub of water for 10 to 15 minutes with 3 to 4 tablespoons of concentrated Lysol mixed in it." I tryed it for the first time tonight and when I dryed my feet it felt like the tops of them were on fire! So I waited a couple minutes till I couldn't stand it any longer and washed my feet off with soap and water then dryed them really good and sprayed between my toes with the powder spray and had to put some after burn on the tops of them. Is it ok to do this again or is my doctor nuts?

Hi there people,

I have only had my period for about two years now... As you can see I am only fourteen years old. I've been noticing that during my period I get huge blood clots, and I mean huge!! Is it normal for someone my age? Because I've been searching for answers for women but they were usually answers for older women... but I am only 14 so I am just checking up here to make sure I am okay.
This has kind of been freaking me out for a while now, because I usually have big clots every month. Whenever I am sitting down for some time, then when I get up, the blood clots just come out like crazy... Many people have told me it's normal for my age, considering my cycle isn't stable yet... but I just want to make sure this is healthy.
Just to let you guys know that I always have heavy flows, usually more than 8 days. I never really get cramps when getting these clots. Please help? I'd appreciate any advice. Thank you.

ive tried everything!! :using a miror, had my friend do it for me (ya it sounds gross i know), i think im relaxing pretty well. I hear that alot, I tried using the smallest tampons i found at the store, tried laying, sitting, standing, squating, tried over and over and over again. It wont go in no matter what i do!

My Dad once told me that it was cause British Farmers, under the pushings of a Government Agency, started feeding our lifestock with a mix of cheap food......

....a food mix containing lots of the offcuts, offal, entrails bones from their cousins which had been killed at the slaughterhouses/butchers..... and that nature rejected this cheap food and Mad Cow Disease was born.

He told me this long before Mad Cow Disease was actualyl diagnosed when he warned me about what I was eating - but is it right?

My girlfriend has currently been dealing with cervical cancer, she got the surgeries and it is all cleared up yet her sex drive is low. We are both younger early 20s. Ok I was wondering how do i loose some weight and eat healthy without skipping meals....because when i was 13 i was really skinny...because i would skip meals and i finally gained some weight back because my mother was getting concered. I don't have health insurance and I have a damaged siatic nerve (nerve that is in the lower back and extends down the legs) that causes me severe pain to walk. I was wondering around how much would a visit/treatment cost?

I had tried hormonal birth control before, and had adverse side effects. i.e. numbness of limbs, extreme dizziness, depression, leg pain, etc...And I was wondering, if I ever needed, if using Plan B would be safe for me.

I do plan on getting a copper IUD - only, I'm without that kind of health coverage at the moment (just so you know I'm not going to use Plan B as a continuous method of birth control)- and sometimes, you know..mistake are made.
We are only human.

Hello I am 22years old and currently attending a community college and taking liberal arts! I'm not really sure i am suppose to be taking this or not but after i receive my associates degree i want to transfer to northeastern university and take pre-med studies. I wanted to know more about the study's and the field ..thats why i am asking for doctors nurses and med students! My passion is to become a doctor. i recently heard of iridology. got a pic of my eyes and they told me what some things were in my body. they gave me some all natural pills to take morning and night and they told me to change my diet. i have been taking the pills and they do seem to help. BUT i've been wondering if the Iridology is actaully for real or just something some guy made up. i work @ a vet clinic and i told the docs that this is what im doing. the next day one of the docs gave me a paper that said iridology is a quack. it was from a .org website not a .com. so do you know if Iridology actaully works?

I have a sore throat right now and its all blocked up with phlegm (sexy I know) and my ears hurt and my nose is stuffy plus Im really achy...I drink crazy amounts of water...The only reason Im asking is because I have an interview tomorrow and I dont want to get anyone sick...Any ideas?

Ima teenager and ive been smoking for a few months. I only have like 2 a day unless im hangin out with people. the longer im hangin out the more i smoke. I stop but as soon as i hang out and see people smoking i do it to. Nobody pressures me into it i just do it and idk why. I really need to stop, any suggestions to make it easier. someone please help me.
my mom's appendix ruptured 3 days ago, poop pushed threw it and it made a hole in it and it knocked it off her intentines to the other side of her body and it ruptured
they took it out and cleaned out her body but its 3 days later and she is ins SO much pain!!!!!!i
she still has an infection and a fever is this normal? is she going to be okay?
i am so scared :(
