There's not alot you can do but take some pain reliever like Motrin. You'll only be in pain for a couple of days until your teeth have moved into place...that is until your next appointment when you have your monthly adjustment. I always found I had 2 hours to eat my dinner before my teeth were killing me. After that you'll have to eat mushy food for 2 days.Don't worry...the 2 years will fly by..hard to believe but true.

take a pain reliever , it doesn't help much but it helps a little. You just have to suffer through it , i just got mine on a few weeks ago and i know exactly what you're going through. Dont worry in about 2 weeks you will be able to eat almost whatever you want again. Hope that helped :]

i know it hurts a lot. well, number one. when you go back to your dentist, tell him/her that you are pain-intolerant and not to tighten it excessively.
number two. when you eat, eat porridge. or something warm.
number three, if you're looking for something to numb the pain, put ice cubes in your mouth. BUT. let me warn you, ice cubes are hard and if you accidentally bite on them, it will hurt.
number four. the pain will lessen CONSIDERABLY tomorrow. trust me. my secondary incisors were totally "in" my mouth and it hurt a lot when i had braces. but sure, the next day it's fine.
number five, just take a panadol and go to sleep. ^^

Take a wash cloth get it wet with hot water and put it on your jaws.Works awesome for me along with eating warm rice and oatmeal. Try to eat things like bananas , yogurt and etc. Take ibuprofen it helps better than Tylenol.

Take some ibuprofen and use some ice packs or warm packs, which ever makes it feel better.
