i always heard from doctors that your not suppose to use deodorant sprays. that if you smell bad, then you have an infection. well i dont smell, but it dosent hurt to freshen up also. but when i read about summer's eve and fds, they say its safe and helps eliminate the odor, not cover up. i dont know what or who to believe?

Obviously, I KNOW the I.V. is a needle and oral is a pill, but what is the difference as far as effect? I have had IV sedation before and I was totally out. I will be getting oral medication next week. I am concerned I will feel/remember everything!! Anyone have input? Thanks!!

What the heck is that about? I mean if your labia are causing discomfort or something, I understand, but do women really do this just for cosmetic reasons?

I ran across before and after pictures, and a lot of the afters looked worse than the befores.
Besides, I thought a lot of guys liked fuller lips?

when i get my period its for several weeks, i know thats weirfd, but doctors say its normal since im only 13, however i have very heavy periods buti find it weird that i never feel pain, at all! and all of my friends say oh i have my period and i have serious cramps and im like what does that feel like? is this normal? Serious answers only please....!!!!! Considering having a breast reduction due to health reasons..I am large breasted and have bad discs at base of spine..had 1 major back op that sadly failed and so now considering this option to take some weight off my back..has anyone else has this done and how was it...or anyone else thinking about it ........???????? and yes i have an appointment with my GP to discuss it further just curious as to other womens views...

sometimes i get pains in my heart.
like a stabbing pain.
and it makes it hard to breathe too.
what do you think is wrong with me?!?
the pains last for about thirty seconds to one minute.
some people have said that i might have a hole in my heart.
but I haven't had a pain for about a month.
can you just tell me what might be wrong??

I find that I'm exhausted throughout the entire day. I got my iron tested, and the results came back normal. I have a few pretty stressful situations going on (2 yr old, work, and full-time student... among other things) I really need to be able to stay on my toes all day. Caffeine is out of the question.
Also, I get about 6-8 hours of sleep, so sleeping isn't the answer.
Any ideas?

My friend and I were playing around with dogs, and I grabbed her hand, and she pushed back, and poked me in the eye... and now its like scratched, or bleeding on a little dot like spot (its a little bigger then a normal dot..) and it like burns.. right after it happened I rinsed it out.... but I don't know if I should be worried or not.. will it just go away????

im a 13 year old girl and i have started cutting myself in march but not very dep and only for attention now i cut when im upset i want to commit suicide but i am not suicidal cause i would feel bad leaving my family and friends and dog i am going to the docter on saturday for a physical for school and i am wondering if i should talk to my docter about this but i am not sure if it is a real problem or if i should just get over it and other people cut too my parents found out i cut myself they said it was just a phase but if they see cuts again they will put me in the mental hospital my life is good though so i dont understand why im like this i guess its just for attention so basically im asking if you guys think i have a problem worth dealong with

I am 14 and today i drank one large iced coffee, and 2 24oz soda. ( i no its unhealty but im not fat n it was really hot). Now at night my heart is beating fast im not sure i dont feel that good and kinda warm. I have drank soda before like and my hearts has been fine even if i drank 3 soda cans a day before. I thought it'd be easier to swallow a vitamin pill if I cut it in half, so I did and took half a tablet. But the cut edge were all rough and it got stuck in my throat (not trachea, just somewhere in the throat area). I drank a lot of water and it eventually went down, but I'm wondering, if I had made any sudden movements or breathed hard when the pill was stuck, could I have choked on it?

A couple of days ago I had a pretty bad accident where a couch fell on me down some stairs. I ended up getting some "slices" on my arms and legs, which ended up getting me a tetanus shot in my shoulder. Today there are still bruises coming on my arms. I feel like I have the flu, extremely tired, hot, achy, just bad in general. Is this a side effect of the tetanus shot? Or is it tetanus? Thank you.

I've been on prednisone for 3 years now due to (SLE). I've gone as high as 60mg a day and as low as 10mg a day. It varies depending on how bad a flare I'm having. I'm also taking Actonel to help with the bone loss (if any). Are there any other side effects or have anyone experienced symptoms from prolong use of prednisone?
