Africa. All diseases and germs, bugs, etc. will be more prevalent in a warmer climate. 80% of all living things live closer to the equator where it is warm and they can survive.

Why are people all ova the world so misinformed about Africans? Whether it be North or South Africa (where I come from) Just because we live in Africa doesnt mean were more likely to get the HIV virus. Im sure we all know this, but 4 the sake of those naive people I will reiterate this: YOU CAN ONLY CONTRACT THE HIV VIRUS BY HAVING UNPROTECTED SEX & SHARING NEEDLES. The reason my continents statistics in AIDS are higher than yours is because we are a third world country and not all of us have access to information about HIV&AIDS. HIV can be prevented through informing people. I hope this clears up all the notions of "because we live closer to the equator thats why we get AIDS". GET INFORMED!!!!

for the young lady above me, the question just simply asks, which country has a higher rate of HIV/AIDS and facts show Africa has the highest rate of HIV, and i agree, just b/c you live in africa doesn't mean you'er going to get HIV, however the chances ARE that much higher.
