I'm trying to find out if there is a way that I can add my mother to my employer group health and dental plan?

You probably can but adding people to your insurance is normally very expensive especially if they are not your spouse or kids. Premiums tend to run very high in that case. Also some insurances won't let you add people unless they are actual dependents in your household.

I hope this helps.

I dont think so. Most employer insurance plans do not include extended family, just spouse, kids and/or stepkids.

Talk to your HR department at your work. I'm sure you can add her, but it will cost extra.

you would need to ask your insurer, usually, if she is disabled and not working, and living with you, then they will add her to your coverage.
