im 13 too. i dont get cramps really, i talked to my mum about it and she said that i probly do get cramps but there just so light that l feel dont them.

talk to your mum and grandma, ask them if they gets cramps...normaly if your mum/grandmum had cramps then you get cramps to.

dont worry about the long periods, i had a period for 2 months.
i was really worried about it so i went to the doctor and she said it was normal and just got me some iron tablets.

the 1 time i got cramps, they just felt like a sorta mild anoying pain. ohh yeah..i got cramps in the night 1 time and they where really bad.

i thought it was just a normal wind/belly pain, i ignored it but it wouldent go away. in the end i just took some pain killers and it went away with in 5 mins.

its perfectly normal to have period with out cramps...who knows, you might get cramps when your older.

i really hope i helped, when i had my period (for 2 months) i was really worried and kept on asking questions on here. so i think i can sorta understand where your coming form.

P.S. sorry for such a long answer. lol. ; )

That does sound weird since you get it for several weeks. But if you're sure the doctors say it's normal, then I guess you're okay. I got my period this year (14) in January and have never had any cramps at all. We're lucky I guess. As long as the doc says you're okay, then I guess you're just normal.

I very rarely ever have cramps...you're just lucky if you don't. If you play sports that could play a role in you not having cramps. The more physically active you are the less pms symptoms you'll suffer.

Be grateful if you don't get cramps. You will be fine. Cramp is really bad times and too much painful. I don't think if you want goes thru it. Don't worry about it. Good Luck...

be grateful you don't get cramps. it kind of feels like when you have to go to the bathroom real bad. only worse.
