Clearly you are a bright 13 year old because you have basically answered your own question. YES, YOU SHOULD TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR. If you didn't already have an appointment so close I'd say call for an appointment in the morning.
If you can (and haven't already), you should also make your parents aware that your cutting yourself. If not them, perhaps a trusted teacher or school counsellor. This is NOT something that is going to go away by itself.
Bright blessings to you.

Yes, you need therapy. Cutting does not exactlymean you are suicidal. But you do need to talk to someone. Definately. It is pretty common in one form or another. Personally, I dig my nails into my palms really hard. It makes me feel better and distracts me from emotional pain. You do not need to be in a mental hospital. You are not crazy. You just need a little support from someone who understands. Try to find a therapist who used to cut. People who don't understand completely won't help you at all. All you're going to get is people who just want you to stop so they don't have to deal with you anymore. That's crap. Cutting can be dangerous. You can get all sorts of infections.
You'll be okay. Just make sure to ask for a therapist who specializes in young teens.

Yes, you need to see someone about this! If you are thinking about suicide, then you really need to see someone soon. This is not normal for you to do, something else is going on to make you feel bad enough to cut yourself for attention or another deeper reason that you don't know of. Good luck, and please talk to someone about this b/c you are too young to have to go through your teenage life cutting.

Absolutely see a therapist. Go to your family doctor and tell him this same story and ask him to recommend a therapist to you.
Get going! You are only 13 and need help now.

It is not just a phase, and yes you need therapy. Cutting only progresses once you start, without help, you continue until you do cut deep enough to die. Tell your folks you need therapy.
