Dad has colon cancer...and he obviously would like to get his 12 chemo treatments done..but for the 2nd time in a row.. he has to wait..cuz of his blood work. Does chemo only work if its done consistantly..(like every 2 weeks)..or.. is it just important..to get as many in your system..even if it can only be done once a month for example?..

My 7 year is a very big (tall) intelligent and articulate child. He has a number of the classic ADD symptoms like bouncing around, lack of focus, no attention span etc, but still does well in school and actually picked up reading very quickly, so doesn't have any issues with teachers or grades.

He's played baseball and football the past year or so, but the lack of focus and inattentiveness is making him fall behind and struggle with things that should be normal. He can ask you a question and while you are answering the question he just asked, his eyes will wander or he'll bring up something else totally off topic like he didn't hear a word you said.
He is also easily frsutrated to the point where simply playing catch in the backyard is a chore. He can catch the football 5 times in a row and then drop 1 and start stomping his feet and be to the point of tears.
I realize he'll need an evaluation, but teh fact school is going well is throwing me

I'm always hearing cautions against eating stuff with raw eggs in it. I used to do this all the time as a kid (cake batter, cookie dough, etc.), and to the best of my knowlege, they never caused a problem. Do you PERSONALLY know of anybody who has had a problem where it is certain that the egg(s) were the culprit?

My A1c is 6.7.I have been doing the atkins diet hard core. I have lost 30 pounds since Jan. I am still at 225 lbs (5-7"). I have been taken metafomin or glusafage about 80% of the time that I am supposed to.When I test after two hours my score is 133 to 150.

I am taking 30 mg of Paxil daily, usually before bed. I know that antidepressants are good for lowering sex drive, but I hate it! I find it very hard to orgasm because of it. I've been on either Paxil or others for 11 years due to fibromyalgia-it levels out my seratonin. Any advice on how to kick my sex drive back in gear? Would changing the time I take them help, or is it the fact that it's in my system so it wouldn't matter?
