I've been searching but have been unsuccessful in finding a free therapist or counselor to talk to or at least give me a little bit of advice. I need some relationship help along with personal issues I've been dealing with. It's gotten so bad at times that I've even considering hurting myself. I really need someone to speak to that could help me understand things and better myself.

i have often looked into this for myself.. and its hard to find. but i have been visting a free IRC chat room for years, there is a room specifically for such things.... its called 'personal help'. there are 2 wonderful qualified counselors there, who have been a great source of help and support to me.

if you are interested, yell.. and i will pass on the details.

In my experience, I have not found any free on-line therapists. Unfortunately, you are probably going to have to pay for one-on-one counseling sessions, but they are worth every penny. I am almost flat-broke and I still make my sessions a priority. If you are religious at all, consider seeing a pastor or free councilor through a local church. Usually, churches are the only place to get completely free counseling. (Unfortunately, they are not usually licensed clinical social workers, so consider any advice carefully.)

If you are thinking about hurting yourself now, please call 1-800-SUICIDE or 1-800-442-HOPE. They understand what it is like to want to hurt yourself. Also, they may even be able to help you find some free or low-cost resources in your area.

If you want serious help (and it sounds like you need it if you consider hurting yourself!) spend the money and go to a certified counselor or therapist.

Online helps might be useful if you are just curious, but you never know who is answering you, how qualified that person is or if that person is even trying to help you or just out to get you to buy something or even a nutcase.

I'm sorry, why the heck would you want to keep a bf who WILL NOT trust you no matter what you do. He is the one with the problem & he won't change, you are well out of it.

I don't think they exist. You can probably find a forum dedicated to these things, or you can find a local number.

I know how you feel...I was the exact same way. If you want to talk to me...let me know.
