under 21 can you not get hired? I drank on Saturday night and I'm suppose to take the test today or tomorrow. What should I do?

If it's a urine drug screen, they don't usually test for alcohol. Besides, it should be out of your system by now. AND, since you're underage, STOP DRINKING!

There is nothing you can do now, it is too late. To point out the obvious, it was stupid to drink when you are having a drug test two days later and you are under the legal age. Whether you get rejected based on the test depends on which test is done. If you get tested via Ethyl Gluconoride(EtG) metabolite you'll test positive if you had a drink within 3–5 days, and you'll have really screwed up, but if they give you the traditional method this only tests positive if you had a drink within 10–12 hours so you will pass. Just hope that they use the latter. Their is no way to "fool" the test, although I am sure you will get lots of myths as responses. You could claim to be too ill to come in and reschedule the test, but that might make them suspicious and cost you the job anyway.

They're not looking for alcohol, as a rule; they're looking for illegal drugs. Most drug screens don't even include alcohol, since most people hired are over 21 and would pop positive on a regular basis after perfectly legal drinking.

most likely you will be fine! Alcohol does not stay in your system for very long, and most tests don't even test for alcohol. But, to be positive you should drink a glass of pure cranberry juice about an hour before the test. Go to the bathroom right before you drink the cranberry juice, and then wait until the test. Hope it works.

They are not testing for alcohol. They are testing for drugs. Alcohol doesn't stay in your system and can't be detected for very long after you've been drinking (48 at the most I believe).

Drink lots of water the night before and the day of and right before drink more water. When you pee pee into the toilet first allot and save a little for the cup . It works every time !!!

alcohol only stayed in your blood stream for 24 hours, and it depends on the job if they required you not to drink or not, but most likely you would be ok

you will be fine.....drink lots of water, or juice so that you will pee a lot....this will flush your system....they wont detect alcohol on a drug test

take it tomorrow, and hope for the best. most drug testing doesn't include alcohol, they are looking for illegal substance abuse.
