I'm 17 and I have a high resting heart rate (about 100 bpm). The doctor told me it was due to lack of exercise. It's true i haven't worked out as much as i used to these past few months, but i've decided things will change.

However, i'd like to know whether or not any of you have been in the same situation, and what workout routine can I do to improve my heart rate (and also how long will this take)

Is it normal to talk to yourself to have conversations with people who exist, in your head? That sounds awful but there's no good way to say it. I mean, I have a friend named Aprille. Is it normal for me to have a conversation with her in my head? It wouldn't be a problem except I mouth the words I'm saying, so other people notice. It's still not really a problem.. I just want to know if it's normal. I also talk to myself out load sometimes, like when I'm mad or whatever I just mumble to myself sort of.. is it normal?

How do you help stop the itch and pain of having many bug bites. My friend has over 50 bites from one night outside all over his arms (looks like hives almost!). Is there any way to stop the itching. I heard something about putting clear nail polish on them....Sprays like Itch X aren't very good for this situation either.

when he talks or explains something, its worse at that time. He has no medical conditions, and is perfectly normal. He's not going through any stressful situation, or the family for that matter. He doesn't drink alot of coke or eat sweets more than he needs to. He has not tried any new foods. His eyesight is okay. Other than this blinking problem, he is completely normal. Is there anything I can do or you can suggest?

I've been with my b-f for a year and a half. At first, I thought he was just super excitable at times, or just had trouble remembering things, or concentrating. As we've gotten closer he's confided in me that he was treated for ADD when he was younger (he's 29 now) but he stopped taking meds in high school.

Sometimes you can't even tell, but other times he'll get so excited when he's talking he'll just talk super fast, so much so that you can't understand him. He also has a hard time concentrating and organizing his thoughts, tasks, etc.

He says there are things he can do to ease the ADD like drinking or smoking weed, he says it calms him down and helps him concentrate. Obviously, not the greatest remedies. He refuses to go back and see a doc, he says, "There's nothnig wrong with me."

Is there anything else that might help him? Mental exercises? Herbal remedies? Anything?

Thanks

I have lost contact with my friends since April because I was being homeschooled. Before that I went to public school and had anxiety then to. It just got so bad that I got homeschooled for the rest of the school year. Now I am going back to public school this week and I am very nervous! What do I tell my friends what happened to me. They probably think I have been missing for the past 5 months lol. What do I tell them? Also what can I do to help me calm down for the first day of school. I start in two days! Thanks

The forth nation has no homeland. There is a true group called the bipolar outsiders who have been born again . What do you think? Can we ever find a place to call our own that is not patroled by doctors with drugs.
