I haven't gone to the dr yet, just found out yesterday...but, I've been cramping, sometimes sharp and then, all day dull pain, but, only on the left side. Is this normal or something I should be concerned about and get to the dr. immed.? Thank you in advance

PLEASE go the the Doctor! It may be anything from a tubal pregnancy (DANGEROUS) to the ligaments in ur uterus starting to be pushed around by the fetus taking up room. In ur case, it is PERTINANT that you go see a Physician, go to the Emergency Room. Get an ultrasound and see if the fetus is positioned right and has a heartbeat. Hope to hear follow up on this one. is there any spotting with the pain?
I had minor cramping throughout both of my pregnancies - it is not at all uncommon, and is normally due to tendons stretching, etc. Unfortunately, most pregnancy books describing symptoms never mention it as a normal thing.
However, there is also the tubal pregnancy risk.
My rule of thumb when pregnant is to never hesitate to get checked out. There's nothing wrong with being sent home for a normal symptom. Many doctor's have advice nurses you can call - you might find that useful too.

This could be a tubal pregnancy and you should get checked out right away. A tubal pregnancy is an emergency.
It could also be normal, but you need to get checked out to make sure.

My daughter had the same thing it was cysts on ovaries but could be any thing i would go to Dr.
