I've been shaving my upper lip and noticed the darkness and roughness it's caused and plus my skin begins to peel now. What can i do to rid this problem?

I would like to know if eating sugar a night before the fasting blood sugar test affect the results next morning. For eg if I eat some good deserts on the night before my fasting blood sugar test the next day, will it affect the results drastically or mildly or none at all ?
I am sure it affects the PP test results but does it affect the fasting tests as well ?

i am 12 years old and i dont exactly brush my teeth 2 or 3 times a day. i dont floss or use mouthwash either. i noticed though, that my gums are bleeding above one of my teeth. all my friends notice it when i smile. they said it could be gingivitus.

1. do i have it, or is it something else?
2. if i do have it, how do iget rid of it?
3. are my teeth gonna fall out if i dont do something quickly?
4. is there a website you know of that can give me this type of info?
5. is it common for kids my age to have gingivitus?

thank you sooooo much! im scared to ask my parents this because they might get mad at me and never let me have soda or candy again!

by the way...
to help this i will brush 3 times a day nd floss twice and use mouthwash twice.
i will not eat so much sugar, and if i do i will brush afterwards

Ok I was trying to sleep and I had another sexual dream about my love Bethany and I woke up and desited to get on my compter. After the dream I started think about what my friend Ronnie said to my back in may. She said that a girl can achaly pop her own cherry. Is that true? ok, a little more detail is probably needed.

My friend met, and fell in love with, a girl who will remain unnamed. she had overcome a different run-in with cancer at an earlier date, and no ill-effects occured. My friend married her, and they decided to have a kid.

this is the 3rd month of their pregnancy, and during a routine check-up, the doctors found cancer in her uterus. i dont know all the details, but i do know that the life of the kid is in jeapordy. what they would normally do is go in and remove the cancer cells, and no harm would be done. but they cant, because of the baby. they dont want to give her treatment, or kemo, because it may hurt the kid.

what am i, as a friend, supposed to do, or say? i know, be supportive and all that, but i cannot always be there. he has always come to me when he didnt know what to do, and i have gone to him to ask questions as well. What do i tell him?

how can i reassure him that everything will be fine without sounding like a sham?

I started taking Microgynon 30 pill last wednesday. So I've been on them for 6 days. I Take them at 8pm. I want to know a few things that weren't in the intructions.

My first question is, is there a time limit each way like before or after the time I normally take the pill when its ok to take it. Like a few hours before 8pm a few hours after ect.

When I start my second pack is it ok to take that months pills at 6am instead of 8pm? This is easier for my lifestyle.

Also like most people on the odd weekend every now and then I like to go to out and like alot of people sometimes I over drink and at worst am sick. Does anyone know how long it takes for the pills to be absorbed into the system? Say I take it at 8pm and am sick at 10pm-11pm would that be ok? This obviously isn't an everyday thing =]

Back to my first question, might it be better for me to take my pill earlyer in the day if I knew I might be drinking later on? Rather than at my normal time of 8pm?

I have had a constant pain in my left breast close to my armpit for about 6 months. I went to the doctor after about the first month and he said it was probably a swolen lymph node and would go away in a few weeks. It never did. The pain feels like someone poked me in the side of my rib and is always there, sometimes hurting more than other times. Could this be cancer of maybe fibrocystic breast disease? I have a sister with fibrocystics breast disease but she says the pain is typically in both breasts and gets worse with caffiene or closer to her period. Please help and/or give me some resources to work with. Thanks!

I'm only 19 years old and my doctor told me that there is practicly no chance of me getting breast cancer at this age and for right now all I have to do is the monthly self exams. I'm experiancing chest pains on my left side, they hurt a ton!! It hurts mostly when I breathe (or laugh) and its like a piercing pain. Its goes and comes but it mostly comes. It started yesterday afternoon. I'm not sure what I was doing exactly what I was doing when it started though. However I'm 98% sure I didn't bump anything into it. Plus I'm looking at it now and it doesn't look bruised or anything and when I touch it, pain-wise, nothing happens.

What's causing it? Should I see a doctor about this? What could help it get better?

1. My neck feels swollen outwards, but muscular and in the bone structure.
2. My Adam's Apple is about 2x the size of the average male's and I don't have an extremely skinny neck.
3. Two small lumps (under my skin, feel like lymph notes) have formed under my chin and are always visible.
4. My lymph notes are ALWAYS swollen.
5. When bending my neck back it feels like I'm lifting weights and the strain is directly under my Adam's Apple.
6. It's hard for me to touch my chin to my chest.
7. It feels like I'm lifting a weight when I swallow and sometimes at the end of the day my neck will be sore (especially directly under my adam's apple).
8. Half the time my adam's apple and directly under it hurts.
9. Sometimes my adam's apple will spasm and move violently up and down against my will.
10. Light pressure against my neck (even a hug) can make my adam's apple and under it hurt for a long time.

Also, is the thyroid test a simple blood test? Could a naturepath doc help me?
