what is hymen? i feel really dumb and of course im a virign as you cant tell but im so clueless right now my head may shrink...

I am very surprised that you had to ask that question...I am sure when you were typing it "Yahoo Answers" showed you that the same question has been ask like a thousand times with a thousand answers and instead of reading those answers you felt the need to ask again.....
Just stating the obvious.

oh no no no! you are not dumb! A hymen is a piece of skin in your vagina so when you have sex for the first time the penis will break it and then u are no longer a virgin. You can also go here: http://www.answers.com/topic/hymen-1?cat=health

I just learned what it was.
(And I'm 16!)
It's a membrane inside the vagina that tears when you have sex (or even put a tampon in)
Some girls aren't born with hymens.

its a very thin piece of tissue um inside your vagina,that stays in place until something pushes it out of the way.it doesnt grow back!

im not sure really all i know is it is within ur vagina its a membrane like tissue which can break due to sexual intercourse or just stretching or even playing sports
