I'm very sure I have social anxiety disorder to the full extent.
But im not sure about having insomnia.
Everynight before i go to bed it takes me about a half hour to an hour just to fall asleep because i keep imagining things. I imagine ghosts and just bazarre things. And even when I get a good night sleep, im still tired.

I have really bad anxiety. I do not know what to do for this sleeping and social disorder problems.

I am well rounded person, with tons of gifts and talents. I work hard for money and do things for many people. I am not that bad looking and I am not a bad guy. I am not a drunk, or a drug abuser. I am not crazy, acception for asking the question "Why me god?" and I don't understand what god has planned for me. So I ask, "Why me god?" I have battled intestinal tract problems "crohn's disease," over 7 years and suffered through meningitis, colapsed lung, and lyme disease. I feel I have no control over my life yet feel my life descions were already made for me. Living with my rents hasn't made things easier. I help my grandmother out 1 or 2 times a week. I am a nice guy everyone tells me so, yet a lot of older adults don't give me the time of day, why? I don't feel in control of my life at all. I want to know "why me?" I feel like I am going for a run and every step I take I loose 3 steps for effort. is there a reason for all of this? what is it? why me god?

My son is 4, and has been to the dentist once, about 2 yrs ago. I think its time for him to go again, i want to start getting him in the routine of going every 6 months, but theres a problem. My son tends to be very nervous and shy around new people, and is timid with anything new or new situations. The first dentist i took him to i was able to go back with him, and everything was fine. But we have since moved and none of the dentists in my area allow the parent back with the child. I am uncomfortable with this for many reasons...for 1 i know my childs personality and that would extremely upset him. Also, i dont know who these people are taking my child into some private room...im not very trusting with strangers being alone with my child when i havent even met them, doctor, dentist, whatever...i certainly wouldnt allow my son to go into the Dr exam room alone at age 4, so why should i let him at the dentist? How do i approach this and handle this?

So I just started wearing my old retainers again like the dentist said and i know for the first few weeks my teeth are going to hurt like HELL. I was wondering if Tylenol would help ease the pain.. and if it's OKAY to take one everyday for a week or so.

She has crowns and bridges that are about 15 years old and they too need to be replaced. Instead of doing this and most likely ending up with dentures in a few years she is considering getting them done sooner rather than later. How annoying are dentures? How embarassing are they? Can everyone tell that you have false teeth or have they improved over the years and she will be making the best decision to see a qualified dentist that can work her up for this solution to the multiple problems she has. She is a young looking 50 year old and her teeth have kept her from smiling all of her life.

If i hardly eat anything, drink lots and only water and run 5 miles on the tread mill a day can i lose 10 pounds by september 6th if im 5'2 and 120, i no the consquences and i do need to lose a few pounds so only tell me if i can and how much you'll think i'll lose k thanks so much.

I ate very hot salty french fries a week ago and it burned and rubbed on the palate of my mouth to even where I had a blister. Now I have what appears to be a canker sore on the bony palate part next to my wisdom teeth (on the inside) and very swollen gums along the insides of my top teeth. It hurts to eat or brush my teeth or even to talk. I brush now a lot after every meal and use Listerine. I'm scared to floss though. How can I make this go away faster or at least not hurt?

I slept with a guy that ive been seening for a while and we had sex a couple nights ago. and this morning it started to burn when i pee. their is no discharge, and no odor...yet. :/ but could this be just a random thing? maybe i got soap in my opening, or maybe semen dried up which made it burn? what are some answers?

I would be 100% sure it wasnt an STD if it werent for the fact that i took my condom off a few in and outs before i came. but i didnt *** inside him. and as far as i know he hasnt been having sex with anyone for a good while...

I am the only one who can. It has always been my choice, even though my depression wouldn't let me see it. I could have moved anytime, but emotionally I wasn't able to move on -- so the cycle repeated itself day after day year after year. My misery fed on itself. It took far too long to realize I was my own jailer in this prison.

i'm having surgery done on my thumb soon to get a tumor removed from it. Its all the way down to the bone so the cut will be really deep. I'm getting stitches and im fine with that. The only problem is that i got an invitation to go to the lake with my friends a few days before the stitches get removed. When I go to this lake i ride jet skies and go water skiing, so if I go i know i'm getting tossed around alot. would it be safe for me to go? I don't want to take it easy when my friends are having a blast on the lake because its not really fair...I want to have a good time...not watch someone else or be stuck on land....what should i do?

Ok, for the past 3 months I have had this redish splotchy rash on the back of my neck by my hairline think extends up into my scalp. It itches SOOO bad and sometimes has a little bit of pain to it. I have tried everything to see if a product i use irritates it (i tried all different products for a week at time to see if it made a difference). I have also tried normal aloe lotion and steroid Rx lotion on it without seeing any change. Lately it has been itching even more and I am even having a hard time sleeping. I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas as to what it is, or what I can try on it. thanks!

I was diagnosed with depression 2 years ago. I took Effexor for about 6 months, and it seemed to be working OK. My doctor took me off of it because it was making me sweat too much, he said. He put me on another medicine that did nothing but make me sick. I voluntarily stopped taking it and didn't go back to try out another medicine. Since then I am always feeling down, and during the times when I am happy, it doesn't last long at all. I often feel hopeless and it seems so painful just to be alive. I also am very uncomfortable in social situations, and am constantly avoiding people, even though the thing I want most in life is to be "cool" and have friends. I don't date because I am too unhappy to be with anyone. My mom is on tons of medicine for her depression and so is everyone else in my family. My family is also falling apart. I can't find any relief. Nothing makes me happy. What can I do?

I had a hysterectomy 5 days ago. I still have my cervix and my right ovary. Since surgery I have had high levels of anxiety. I constantly feel that I have to be moving and cannot sit down. I am 48 years old. Is it possible that I am feeling hormone changes this soon? Has anyone else felt this way after their hysterectomy? What did you do and did your doctor put you on anything for it?
