Eat under 500 calories a day ... you'll lose more than ten pounds. I lost twelve pounds in ten days doing this, and I hardly exercised (beyond walking to class).
Message me if you'd like.

I've actually lost over 7 lbs in a day before. Low water intake and high amounts of cardiovascular exercise can easily drop 4-6 pounds in a day.
Weight is very easy to lose, usually because you flush water and salt (as well as other electrolytes) out of your system. However, you'll lose very little fat doing this and make it harder to burn calories in the future.
I might add that the day I lost 7 lbs, I was also hospitalized and nearly died. Don't screw with your electrolyte balance.
I think that if you reduced your calorie intake to about 1500 calories a day (balanced diet, mind you, not junk food), did a light weight-lifting routine (which really revs up your metabolism), and ran for an hour or so a day that you would be best off. You could healthily burn off 4-5 lbs, I think, including a bit of water weight.
Why is it that you want to lose lbs? Is it to fit into something, as far as physical size goes? Starvation and over-exercise can reduce certain areas of your body (usually ones with muscle) and leave your waist close to the same size.

I'm 52 and 130. I bet you look great. You probably wont loose that much so quickly but maybe some. You might want to try drinking a gallon of water a day, it fills you up. I heard it even burns calories if it's cold because your body has to warm it up. It's hard to get used to drinking that much water, but it helps, and it will probably be easier for you if you are planning to run that much. I actually like to drink some of ithe water warm in the mornings because it's almost like tea and it's more filling warm. Just a suggestion.

Do you want to lose the 10lbs and then gain it back after Sept 6? I don't think you want to waste your efforts.
Start losing weight by going low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein, and exercise. The foods are low caloried, and yet filling and healthy. Brisk walking is great for burning body fats.
It is my lifestyle now. I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs/14kg and gained better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs/49kg for more than a year, with more fruits and complex carbs.
Details such as my experience, meals, recipes, foods to buy, reading labels, walking as an exercise and to shape the body etc etc, are in my blog.

You'l probably hear this a lot, but that is not very heathy. You'll lose the weight if you drink water and run, but you need to eat a balanced diet as well.

yeah you will be able to desire to. you do not likely opt to drop pounds, i'm 20 kilos heavier than you. yeah thats stated as wanting to drop pounds i'm working 4-5 miles on the treadmill an afternoon and ingesting lots of of water each. it could pay off incredibly. do not not eat in spite of the undeniable fact that, a minimum of eat like a bite of fruit for lunch and breakfast and that i dont comprehend what for dinner. possibly a small salad. do not starve your self.

first of all - whats wrong with your present weight ? what you are attempting to do could be dangerous to your health.
Loosing weight like this is only a temporary weight loss , you will quickly put it back on after you start eating normal again.
Been there done that.
