my grandma has had 2 nose bleeds in 2 days, she went to the hospital yesterday and they did blood tests, their thinking of going to her cancer doctor to see what it might be. btw she only has one lung because her other one collapsed and they say that now her heart is on the right side of her body, would this have anything to do with the nose bleeds?

I was told by an oral surgeon that those types of 'braces' won't really work on someone who is older because the teeth are harder to move than when you're a young teenager. That invisalign will just 'tickle' my teeth instead of really moving them. But I've been to their website and they say that they work for people of all ages...

Over the past month and a half, I've noticed that i have been getting sore throats and earaches on and off, so i finally went to the doctor yesterday. He said my lymph nodes were swollen, the insides of my ears were swollen and fluid-filled, and the inside of my nose is red. He said its a virus, because the rapid strep test came up negative. I just find it weird that if its a little virus that its lasted over a month...is that normal. could it be mono? should i be worried? what happens if my ears dont drain? Could it be tonsil cancer?

What can someone do to deal with a 62 year old family member whom is obviously suffering from an mental illness, but refuses to get help, or acknowledge it? He self medicates with alcohol and prescription drugs. He alienates/can't get along with others, his only friend is the TV, has drastic mood swings and disorganized/illogical thinking. Is there a professional out there that can give me some tips?

Does it matter what consists of those 1000 calories or can it be anything as long as you stay at that point? I have a friend that can live off of soda and candy bars and not gain if she maintains a certain caloric intake. I don't plan on going that route, just wondering.

My husband is the only one working. I have a 3 years old baby. I can't offord medicins. They are way too expensive. My husband works at KFC so there are no benefits working there. we dont get Drug plan or any kind of insurance. so is there anyway i can get them for free or if not free so where i would only have to pay just little. My girlfriend wants to go to the beach, but her bikini is too small and if we're going to be active in the sand we want to make sure there's no danger in getting a few grains in there. so i was at the bus stop...leaningon a poll(i live in los angeles)
the i felt somthing on my neck and i slapped whatever it was and wheni looked at it...it was a spider it was red...with some black....really reallly small like 1/2 cm by3/4 cm(centemiters)
and it bite me....and i have general anxiety disorder,...and now the bite kinda hurts..like its sore...well my neck..and im really freaking out...im not swelling but it feels a little numb and my neck hurts....just the side of the bite...what should i do!!?!?!?!
mymom and dad told me not to panic...but i have gad so its kinda hard to do that...was the bite...or is it like bad??? the spider was small though...what kinda spider do u think it was.....

Okay you know the feeling when you get nervous and your stomach gets all excited and does flip flops like you have 'butterflies.' Do you know what i'm talking about? well my stomach is doing that now, for no reason. i'm not excited or nervous about anything. i have volleyball practice later, but thats boring. and i have a horrible headache. any ideas on whats going on? it feels weird and is getting annoying. and its making me feel like i'm gonna be sick or something. I've had it for several years, since a child but it got progressively worse over the years though I did get help from cognitive-behavioral therapy (cbt) and taking the ssri (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor) prozac. Was wondering if anyone else can relate and btw, Tyra Banks has on guests with ocd on her program today.
