Here is a link to the CDC's BMI calculator: http://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/dnpa/bmi/adult_BMI/english_bmi_calculator/bmi_calculator.htm
I'm 25, 5'7" and 137. I'm apparently at a healthy weight, but I know I have a good amount of fat I could stand to lose around my belly(I can grab a handful and am not very active), even though I look lean. My hubby on the other hand is 6'1", 239 and is considered to be slighty obese. He is way more healthy and active than I am however and although he could drop a few, he is by no means "obese" and has a lot of leg and arm muscle. If you think you're overweight go to the doctor and see what he thinks.

That actually depends on quite a few factors, first of all height. Check out this link for more info: http://www.healthchecksystems.com/heightweightchart.htm
Body shape and frame size are also imporatant factors. Basically, charts such as the one in the link above can be used as guides, but realize that it varies for each person! Overall health is much more important than weight. If you do decide to add exercise to your routine, or make other such changes, do not base your decisions on your bathroom scale.

I believe that it has very much to do with the height that you are, check the growth chart. Also it would depend if you continue to gain weight by eating fattening foods. Be sure to eat a healthy diet, get a good exercise program, walking briskly, etc. Stay away from the miracles that would cause you to lose weight fast, they are expensive and could be dangerous. If you are still concerned question your doctor. Your metabolism should be working really well at your age unless you do not overdo the eating and lack of exercise.

Overweight or not depends more on your height and bone structure than your age. If you weigh 135 pounds and you're 5'-2" you'd probably be overweight, but if you're 5'-8" you'd be underweight.

With that little information about you it's kinda of hard to tell. Being over weight also have something to do with your height, your bone structure and all that.
Here use this website:
http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/bmicalc.htm
Just type in your height and weight and see what your BMI (Body mass index) is then compare to the chart next to the it.
Good luck!!

there are a lot of factors that go into a persons weight such as height and bone structure in addition to age and weight. talk to your dr. or a fitness professional to find out what weight is best for your body type. hope this helps.
