my hair has been falling out really badly when i brush it recently i think it might be my diet, so i need to know what vitamins so i can go buy them. Please help I'm only 19 and i don't want to go bald.
Its rather embarrassing really i woke up the next morning and there are loads of hair strands on my pillow

I know they are 'negative' ways of describing ones self but that's what i am, so why shouldn't i call myself those names even in fun having an occasional laugh about myself! If you can't take the proverbials outta yourself then.....well that's even more depressing!! (Isn't it?) My mates call me the 'mad valley queen' cause i take vallium (diazepam) and live in a valley, i don't get offended they're only having a laugh. I must admit i didn't like the way my ex called me a freak because it was said with so much venom but otherwise.....why not?

I don't know if this more common than people think it is, but I've been wondering if anyone else has the same experiences. A few times over the past few years, I've heard voices in my head. Once, as I was getting ready to leave, a voice in my head once warned me not to go to a place because it was closed down anyway. I ignored this and and went anyway. It was closed, which was weird since it was usually open on those days & hours. And another time I was about to go to sleep, I lied down, and I heard a group of people (a man & two women i think) arguing over something. They were talking so fast that the conversation was over in less than a few seconds but they must have said about 30 sentences in that span of time. Nobody else was home when I heard these things. It's hard to describe but it's like the voices come from inside my head. It's not something I hear with my ears. Am I going crazy or have any of you experienced this? Maybe its more common than I think it is?

I finally quit ALL coffee 2 days ago. I slept really well last night for the first time in ages, but I'm so sleepy today. I never nap, but it's the only thing I want to do.
I am drinking green tea (very little caffeine)
How long will this sleepiness last?

I know it sounds stupid, but I won't take my meds. I'm 15 and I have Bipolar disorder, as well as something called Borderline Personality Disorder.
It's just emotionally stressful to take my meds. I start bawling when I have to take them cause I'm reminded that I'm "insane" and nobody likes me. It doesn't help when people say I'm a "poor baby" cause I take 5 different meds and they're all horse pills. But I dont like people feeling bad for me.
I'm sad cause I have to take them. I feel like it does more harm to me than anything else. Now, my social worker is forcing me to take my meds and I feel so incredibly depressed.
I also feel like therapy has done a lot for me, and I don't need my meds as much. But it doesnt help when I need something like a dentist (been asking for 8 MONTHS) and my mom acts like she doesn't know what I'm talking about. She has a lot on her plate but I don't know how to schedule.
What do I do now?
Are there any websites or support groups I can check out?

The other day after my calculus class, I stood up and streached. It was as usual, my vision went black and I got kinda dizzy, I guess from my blood rushing to my legs after their not being used in the past hour or so. But this time it lasted longer and kinda fell headfirst into the desk, just barely catching myself groping around in the dark reaching for something to break my fall. I was dizzier than usual and it felt like i was floating and could hardly control my body.

Is this something that I should be worried about?

i feel that if i can get over a certain philisophical dillemma then i can finaly get over this anxiety.

it has to do with an actual academic philosophy. who do i contact for help? i am not in college or anything like that.

I doubt anyone can help me, but I thought I would try. I have multiple personalities, and we dont get along very well anymore. I've tried shrinks and they arent any good for me, and its not dangerous or interfearing with my life, and unless I tell them most people dont even know, but its simply...depressing. We each want different things. The 'primary' personality has more or less the life she wants, husband and kids and such, but the rest of us are miserable, especially given that I am in love with the husbands old college roomate, and that another one of us is a lesbian. I dont know how we can all be happy at once...unless we all had bodies of our own which I dont see bieng even remotly possible...any advice or experiences of your own would be great, but please dont be hateful. We all have our problems, mine are just a little more outspoken then others.

I was watching Dr. G and she was talking about a condition when your heart will grow additional veins for blood flow if one of the major veins gets clogged or is not flowing properly. Does anyone know the name of that condition?

I'm going to my friend's cottage tomorrow and I'm finishing my period. Actually, I'm on day 5 and it usually doesn't last this long, but I think it'll die down tomorrow.

I don't wear tampons, plus I don't think it would be a good idea to wear one with a light flow. I just don't want my bathing suit to get dirty and have blood leak through.

So my question is if anyone has tried just wearing a pantyliner, and if it helped or if it was a bad idea. Thanks :)

Okay, I have the full metal rim type of glasses. When the time comes to get new glasses, I'm wondering which type's a preffered type. Let my show you:
Full Plastic Type (No nose piece added to it.)
Full Plastic Type (Nose piece's added to it.)
Half Metal Rim
No metal on the Frame (But for the sides of the glasses it's metal.)
Full Metal Glasses (Even around the frame.)

But please, nobody reccommend the type of glasses that are really round or anything. Neither the type of glasses that has jewelry or writing on the side. (I think that they're too distracting!) Thanks everybody :)
