I would suggest a cleansing diet. I lost 12 pounds in 9 days and then 28 pounds in less than a month. I also lost a lot of inches too! I learned that cleansing will help the body get rid of impurities. Impurities come from a lot of things like fast food, pollution, food additives and preservatives and lots of other things. In addition to what Deadly_Charm_2531 said, I would recommend cutting waaayyy down on breads, pastas and grains, and filling in that void with lots of fruits, veggies, meats, and use some real butter on the veggies.
Fats are not fattening, but help keep you full.
Carbs are fattening because they keep your pancreas set on high and actually make you hungrier.
"Diet drinks" actually have the opposite effect... they are addictive and actually slow down your metabolism.

Just do cardio and strenth training. Eat right and cut out sugar and white foods because they turn into sugar. It might take alot of work but if you are dedicated
