Elavil (amitriptyline) helps one to sleep, is extremely inexpensive--as far as meds go, is a tricylic antidepressant, and additionally helps some with pain. It can leave you feeling quite groggy in the morning, though, if you don't take it early enough at night.

I think I was having an allergic reaction to the post surgery tape they used in combination with my stitches. I have red bumps and it was painful itchy... to the point where I had to rip it off... What is in tape that can cause the reaction. I have never been allergic to anything. I do go to the doctor today... but has anyone had a reaction like this before?

It has been there for about 4 months or more and I thought that it might just go away but it didn't. I thought that it might be an ingrown hair but I really can't tell. It hurts and irritates me on a daily basis.

Well ive been with this girl for about a month and we started having sex a few weeks ago...Well honestly shes kinda boring sexually...she doesnt really like too many positions...almost like she wants me on top of her all the time...she told me she has had an orgasms before but i havent been able to make her *** yet and this is strange for me because any girl ive ever been with sexually i have been able to make them ***... also shes not really into oral sex either and im a huge fan of that both giving and receiving...so basically our sex life is me and on top her then done...does anyone have any suggestions on how to spice things up or to get her into trying different things?? or is this something that will just come with time or am i stuck with a boring sex life as long as im with her??

im allergic to condoms, thwey make me really osre the itchy for nearly a week afterwards, my doctor said it were the spermicde so i got some without the spermicide an they wr worse. im on the pill but would like to no if anyone else has this problem an what you use instead as the pill doesnt work properly for a week if ur ill

I've gained 60 pounds, now I want to lose it all. I've been eating huge meals and snacking for a few months and I want to lose the fat. What is more effective? Portioning my everday meals or cutting all that crap out and eating nutritious foods like Tuna, 2% low-fat milk? My friend says that portioning my everyday food is the HEALTHIEST way to diet. I don't know, I say cutting the bad food out and eating healthy food is more effective... What do you think?

I think my body just hates me LOL! No seriously though, I have been on the birth control pill for almost 2 weeks. I was put on them because I am bleeding (more like spotting) for almost 2 months strait. Now, I am bleeding like a medium period. Frank red blood, as opposed to brownish, half dried up kinda old blood and clots like I was bleeding before. Honestly, I am SICK of bleeding. Oh and speaking of being sick, I am having terrible cramps and back cramps. The pill is Loestrin Fe. Is this normal body behavior? Am I abnormal? Does anyone know if this is a sign of anything else, perhaps more serious?

It seems every day it gets heavier...

a sudden alergy or intolerance, i've never had this problem before and i'm in better health than i've ever been. i recently find even a little red wine gives me a headache, serious depression, aches in my legs and i get terribly congested in my sinuses. My friend,Cheyenne, has not started her period yet. She actually wants to start! Anyway, she asked ya'll for some advice. She says that she just had a cramp at 7:58 AM today and every time she goes to the bathroom there is white stuff in her underwere and she has been having direah a lot lately.

The body is designed to heal itself if you allow it to do so/help it out a bit (i.e.: a broken bone will try to mend & calcify even if it's not "set" correctly; or, an infected cut in the skin will heal up if you treat the infection and don't irritate the cut; etc.)

How come teeth don't work like this? I have never heard of anyone who suffered from an infected tooth (a cavity, basically) that got better without dental treatment.

has anyone else been treated for NCS with midodrine?
How long does it take for your body to get used to it?
I'm not having much success :( my dizziness / fainting spells aren't decreasing and the side effects of the drug are actually making me feel worse.

I have another tilt table test scheduled in 2 weeks, what happens if I test positive again? will they put me on a different medicine? I read pace makers are a possibility and that's kinda scary.
