Revenge is simply bad Karma, period. Has this "old friend's" obviously OLD crime to you, consumed your life so much that you can only think about hurting him/her? Is whatever they did to you worth your money or time if they were to press charges against you? The act of you hurting someone is actually Battery, not Assault like previously posted. Assault is, by definition, an intentional, unlawful threat or "offer" to cause bodily injury to another by force, so guess what "Killer", you are already guilty of this tort. Battery is the willful or intentional touching of a person against that person’s will by another person, or by an object or substance put in motion by that other person. To answer your question, if hit hard enough you can in fact kill someone from a punch in the throat. Take care and try to focus on more positive things, it might improve your way of life. Peace.

You could hurt them really bad...and possibly make yourself feel better by doing it. I say go for it. Mainly because I didn't like the nurse's response. Some people are just too stupid to reason with and be rational too. I have been in a few fights and never started them. I refuse to stand and take a punch though. Girls...jeeesh

You could possibly kill them. Unless someone is threatening your life and you can't get away from them, then you have no reason to punch that person in the throat.

You I like. Thinking about revenge is a natural part of life. No it should not hurt them as long as you don't wear brass knuckles. When I'm about to go ape on someone i always remember to take off my hand blingage. You are a good person asking before doing something and always remember to keep your pimp hand strong.

violence is NOT the answer.
crushing someone's trachea could cause instant death-and do you know what that gets you-a MURDER charge (which could be punishable by the death penalty)
