Its midnight here.. Canada.. (Manitoba)...it 10 hours or so, my dad will be having his surgery (colon cancer).. I for sure plan to see him tomorrow.. just wonder, if and what he will be like after surgery?.. Should i be there for when he is recovering.. or wait till later in the eve? Just don't know what to expect when someone has this type of surgery..

I have been very anxious lately about my health. I have been having chest pain all day today kind of a squeezing pain. I am 16 years old and had an EKG a couple months ago and chest x ray. fine. I am wondering if anxiety could cause chest pain all day even if your anxiety comes and goes but your chest pain is still there.

ok,

i went to get up out of a chair and when i went 2 get up a got a sudden sharp pain that made me wince??? no lumps there just now everytime i go to get up i get this sharp pain underneath my belly button


can anyone tell me what this means/is? any info would be great

some other info, i am only 17 and i excercise a fair bit

I am 25 and had a total abd. hysterectomy a couple years ago. I have not been on any HRT but recently talked to my doctor about taking something to help with my sex drive (or lack there of) and the normal menopausal symptoms. He prescribed Estratest. I was hoping to get a better idea of what I can expect from this...side effects...will it really increase my sex drive...how long does it take to start to feel it working...stuff like that! I really need something to help me feel like a normal young woman! I am unable to take estrogen due to medical concerns.

I would greatly appreciate your help! I am a little nervous to start taking something that is pretty unfamiliar to me but I really need something.

I went to see two different gynecologists in same county but different cities within 1 month for basically same check-up/test(1st trimester pregnancy). Instead of charging the insurance the same or similar amount, one doctor charged $600 while the other doctor charged $300. Is one doctor defrauding the insurance or is this normal variance between different doctors?

I'm currently doing my own diet, which is basically eating a lesser amount of food, and selecting healthier, low-fat foods. Ive gained around 15 kilograms since entering college (since 3 years) , all due to plenty eating out! I really have to shed off those kilograms, and would like to know a suitable rate to go by, cz i heard that if i lose weight too fast, i might get flab and stretch marks! I want to make sure that I'm acctually losing FAT and not muscle.

A local opthalmologist advised that I have glaucoma just by checking my eye visually & suggested I need to schedule for a glaucoma surgery with her. A local pharmacist told me that abnormally large number of this opthalmologist's patients are diagnosed with glaucoma. So I went to get few other opinions from other opthalmologists & after few tests, they all said I don't have glaucoma. Should I report this apparent intentional or incompetent misdiagnosis to the BBB? Will it really make any difference? Or should I just forget about it since I didn't go back to her & she didn't do anything to my eye?

my friends and I smoked some weed. we had smoked weed lots of times before,so we knew quite a bit about weed. we were using a glass pipe of basically all shake (tiny particles of weed that r really broken up in almost like a powder). my friend took the first hit and started coughing bad, one of the worst coughing attacks ive ever seen. he could hardly breathe. that was the only hit he took. then i went next and took a hit. i noticed the weed burnt extremely fast and i could actually see the weed shrink as it caught fire. i coughed really bad but not as bad as my friend. i took another small one and i was done. my friend hu had coughed said his lungs hurt really bad. after about 10 minutes it really hit us hard. it was crazier than any experience we ever had with weed. i felt like i was levitating above the ground about an inch and my movements felt jerky. my heart was beating really fast and i was really paranoid.my vision was really messed up and i felt like i was in another reality
