Sounds more like a pulled abdominal muscle..If the pain stay around or gets worse go see a Dr.

A ventral hernia does not commonly occur in younger athletic people , but it can not be 100 percent ruled out.

It's not likely a gall stone, which will be more to the right and up.
It's probably not a urinary tract infection, as that would not be a sharp pain and you should have discomfort when you urinate.

OK, what it could be--appendicitis, but you usually have fever with it. Press on your abdomen gently, if it doesn't hurt it's not very likely. I doubt you would all of a sudden get appendicitis like this.

Ovarian torsion--can happen in girls, usually on one side, not right below belly button. The pain is often quite intense, and you need to see a doctor quick for this.

Hernia as mentioned--kind of rare to never have any symptom until your age.

Muscle strain--I'm guessint it's most likely the problem.

Bottom line (a whole bunch of people would tell you anyways) is to see a doctor of course. I am a doctor but I can only guess from your description.

hi.. Im an Emergency scientific Technician. Please be very careful in taking suggestion from non-scientific experts fairly over the internet. The soreness you're experiencing could be a form of issues, a number of that are painful yet hazard loose (menstrual cramps or a pulled muscle). inspite of the incontrovertible fact that, it could additionally be your appendix, fairly if the soreness is putting out to radiate to the main spectacular edge of your abdomen. it could additionally be an ovarian cyst or perhaps an ectopic being pregnant (a sprint one starts to style on your fallopian tubes and is a real emergency) in case you're sexually lively. My expert opinion as an EMT is so you might flow to the Emergency Room and have the surgeon permit you be conscious of that is not a form of undesirable issues. The surgeon is the only one that can permit you be conscious of to not worry. Please flow to the ER. that is not a super deal to flow to the hospital and have the surgeon permit you be conscious of that each and every thing is super. that is a substantial deal to have the ambulance come and rush you to the hospital.

My girlfriend had abdominal/pelvic pain a couple of week ago, and she finally went and saw a doctor after it got really bad. Turns out it was just an infection, and she started on some medication and it doesn't hurt anymore.

My suggestion: go see your doctor if it continues.
