I've heard that a little bit of carbonation can help an upset stomach. I think anything works, if it's something you like. I go for a bit of coke myself, but for others it's ginger ale or 7 up. I might avoid having the whole can though, because that could actually make it worse. Just go in moderation until you feel better.

In my past experiences it has been, only you don't want to drink alot at once. Drink small amounts slowly at a time. Depending on what ales you if you are vomiting or have diareahha you should try to stay on clear liquids. Such as 7up, or sprite, chicken soup, jello etc. avoid milk products. Hope this helps, feel better soon!!!!!

The sugar in the pop helps the soothe the stomach and makes it eiser for the stomch to absorb liquuids. Also, 7up does not contain caffine or color additives. Caffine & other additives can be irrating to a severly upset stomach.

It seems help a lot of folks. So does gingerale or cola. Just sip these beverages slowly, and without ice. What I usually do for an upset stomach is suck on a lemon. Seems to work for me every time, and I haven't figured out why, because lemon is all acid.

For an upset stomach, yes.
For an upset stomach from acid, no.
If you have acid problems, crackers or bread is best, as it will absorb the extra acid.
