i have had a recent situation where my sister has been in the hospital for 3 months and lately is getting all the attention. my parents thank me for how good i am doing with the situation and i say that i am fine with the whole thing. i bottle my emotions and just want to konw a way to get out my anger.

I have a medical plan with UNITED HEALTH CARE (CHOICE PLUS)

so, i want to go to a gynecologyst but dont have a clue how to find one within my network coverage, I tryed calling the local hospital but they dont do appointments or walk ins, etc...

Cansomebody advice me how can I get an appointment within a Gynecologyst within my health plan?

injury was 12 days ago, stitches out 3 days, saw what looked like flesh when stitches were placed still looks the same but only in that spot. (the rest is healed) this spot still bleeding a little bit even.

I had watch gory horror movies before but none of them got me scared. I dont really watch them regularly but they dont really disturb me that match. Until one day my cousin rented a horror movie titled "mermaid in the manhole" It's so disturbing that I didnt finish it. Now I'm having problems to sleep at night because those nasty images kept on coming on my head. I cant sleep even with the lights on.

Help me!

How can I have a nice sleep again. How can I forget those nasty images caused by that stupid movie.

Could this be a symptom of anything serious? Since surgery, I haven't been able to recline fully to the supine position (I even had to resort to sleeping at a 45-degree-angle! Needless to say, I got almost no sleep over the past five days. Could that be causing the neck discomfort? Has this happened to anyone else after sinus surgery? I got the packing removed today (my doctor still uses gauze), and that was NOT FUN!! I felt like Arnold Schwartzeneggar's character from Total Recall when he pulled out that acorn-sized thing in the center of his skull. I've been taking pain medication constantly since the surgery (every four hours, two 5mg Percocet tablets), does that stuff ever cause spasms, perhaps? I'm trying to think of anything that could be causing this, but drawing a blank (nothing definitive or "special" about my surgery, really). Now I just want to make sure that this is not some "big deal" that I'm accidentally overlooking. Any information would be very appreciated. Thanks.

My boyfriend (32 years old) has been taking 1000 IUs of vitamin E daily for a year now, ever since a doctor told him that he should take it to prevent prostate cancer. Well today I heard that there is new evidence that says it is not beneficial for men to take vitamin E. Does anybody know the latest on this? Thanks!

Ok i went to the doctor today and she gave me some antibiotics for my sinuses but my ear for the last day has felt like a bunch of pressure in it and i can barely hear out of it
CONSTANTLY
it been hurting real bad and my doctor look at it and she said its like infected from my sinuses and I have a high tolerance to pain so its sorta really bad (my ear drum almost ruptured she said)
BASICALLY
I need a way to make it not hurt
because it hurts really really bad
sometimes i hear a popping sound from it
i just want the pain to go away with me not messing up my ear
PLEASE HELP
it hurts :(

Ok i have a 4yr. old boy, and he was really sick he has already very bad asthma. And when i took him to the doctors, they said now he has really bad allergeys! but at the doc. office they still gave him his 4yr. old immunizations. It was three shots, Polio, Hepatitis B, Tetnas. The meds they perscribed him was, prednisolone, singular, and azithromycin. He is ok during the day... but at night time he is horrible, he also has nebulizer treatments of Alburteral, every 4hrs. I think its a lot of steroid med. and it makes me nervous. And now hes complaining of teeth pain, Ive been to the doctors, hospital, and everywhere i go they just put him on more med!! This little guy is so sick!! And i just want someone oppopion, on if all this is ok for him!! can ne one help me?!?!

i got my wisdom teeth removed 9 days ago and the bottom left stitch (dissolving stitches) came out a few minutes ago.. theres still a pretty decent gap there.. i was wondering if i need to see my oral surgeon about this?... theres no pain nor bleeding.. theres been a gap 4 awhile before stitch fell out... but im not sure if the stitch was meant to come out so early

I am trying to remove the tylenol from my lortab elixir because I have to take large doses for my surgery and my liver doesnt like the tylenol. I put the elixir in the freezr until it was real cold(not frozen) then poured it over a coffee filter I got all the white crytals in the filter and liquid in the cup. Are these crystals the tylenol? Did it work. Some people use the cold water extraction for pills and the tylenol turns to white crystals and is caught in the filter. So did this work? I hope so!

I've recently been put on Lutera, while it's making me want to eat a lot, I haven't gained any weight. But my boobs just seem to be getting bigger! I can only fit into one of my bras now. Is it just my imagination? I'm also 20, so I don't think I'm getting some sort of random growth spurt this late in the game.

My back tooth, not my wisdon tooth but the last tooth on my bottom right jaw was taken out yesterday morning at around 8:30 am. Now it's 8 pm the next day, about 36 hours now, and I have not smoked once since then. It's been so hard, but I've heard about dry socket and I really, really don't want it.

I stayed on my painkillers all day yesterday, but didn't even need them today. It doesn't even hurt at all, and there's no puffiness in the side of my face.I've been checking my clot periodically with a little booklight, yesteday it was big and red but it's slowly gone down and now most of the extraction site is covered in a plaque film, but underneath it I can still see some really dark clot. It looks good, and it feels fine.

I've rinsed once with salt water, and that didn't hurt. My doctor said to abstain completely from smoking for 24 hours, and then after 24 hours I could resume smoking. It's been a little longer, but I'm not sure...is it all right now? There's no more pain...

My 79 year old grandmother went to the hospital with pneomonia and was dead within a week. First she was given an antibiotic for the pnemonia which thickened her blood. She was then given coumadin and lovenox to thin her blood. When it got way too thin and they discovered blood pooling in her abdomen, they gave her vitamin k...but it was too late I guess. She stopped breathing and her heart stopped. She was ressusitated and keep on life support for almost 2 days before she passed. (Her ressusitation took between 20-25 minutes, so she was presummed to be brain dead). Is all of this sound normal or was a MAJOR mistake made at the hospital?

She had quadruple bipass surgery years ago and had an artifical heart valve.

or for some reason would this be a one time thing? My daughter had B.O. tonight!!! She does get very hot very easily and sweat, ever since she was a baby.. she doesn't get cold easily..

m i gonna get sick?
my uncle was hung over and crabby today. he came home later saying he threw up. then he layed down and felt better. why did he puke from the hangover or the stomach flu? it's may. the flu season is over. do you think it's the hangover? i never heard of puking with a hangover. i was touching things that he touched. am i gonna get sick? i can't stop worrying about getting sick. i think it's the stomach flu. i can't stop crying. my uncle was laughing when i asked him if he was sick. it sounded like he was joking. he likes to mess with me and lie a lot. his girlfirend started laughing too. i heard him say "i feel sick." to her. great. now im gonna get sick. help!
