or for some reason would this be a one time thing? My daughter had B.O. tonight!!! She does get very hot very easily and sweat, ever since she was a baby.. she doesn't get cold easily..
-does this mean hormones?
-a one time coinsidence?
-or a young onset of puberty?

My daughter is 7 as well and sounds very similar to yours in that she gets hot and sweaty very easily and yes ever since she was a baby. She recently started having BO as well. I got her some deoderant. She actually enjoys using it...I won't let her wear make-up or anything like that yet, so I guess this makes her feel like she's growing up...uggghhh!!! It's too soon!!

Anyway, I had my first period at 11 so I guess my daughter is going to follow in my footsteps and be a little early in that and possibly even earlier. Just a fact of life and of growing up.

Just wanted to add my 2 cents so you would know that this is apparently quite common these days. Seems like puberty is starting younger and younger.

I noticed my daughter getting BO just before she turned 8 years old. I've also noticed a few of her friends are the same. I think it's just the beginning of puberty. I now encourage her to use an alumimium free deoderant (like a herbal one) that I got from a chemist/health food shop that helps quite a lot (as much as she hates it). It's far worse when she's had sport at school or has been running around a lot.

Welcome to the beginning of puberty! This is usually the first sign that puberty has begun, and B.O. often starts in 2nd or 3rd grade. Your daughter is only a tiny bit young...but don't worry, that doesn't mean her period will come young as well. Everyone goes through puberty at his or her own rate.

It is what is in the body being excreted. Look at the diet, and eliminate processed foods. The colon is in need of clearing. Eliminate milk. Talk to a chiropractor, they typically follow diet issues.

What does their breath smell like?

If young puberty, consider they may be getting unwanted hormones in their diet from some food product.

One of my daughters had BO bad enough in Kindergarten that she had to apply deodorant before school each morning.
We bathed her at least as often as the other children, maybe more. She was just a stinky kid. It is uncommon for a child of this age, but not unheard-of.

For my child, she did start menstruating at age 8.

My daughter was also like yours, in that she was always warm, and rarely ever got cold.
