I was just wondering if you can eat sweets while on the special k diet?

I am on a diet and really dont know what to make for dinner that the whole family would like, but would also be good while on a diet. I am trying to only eat 1500 calories a day. So any new fresh ideas would be great. Thanks

My friend has just found out that she has an allergy to Gluten. I am having a bit of a get together at my house this week and want to provide some nibbles to go with the wine. I don't want to make my friend feel as though I am going to trouble for her but want to make sure that she has something to eat. What can I prepare that we will all be able to eat without it being specifically "gluten free" i.e shop bought gluten free?

The *wonderful* antibiotic that I was on for my sinus infection gave me thrush. Ugh!

I've just been prescribed Nystatin Oral Rinse for it and I'm worried about side effects. Has anyone taken this before and if so, how well was it tolerated?

i hardly ever smoke weed, ever, but on 4/20, i had a joint and now i need to take a drug test, urine, tommorow for a job and i want to know the easiest way to cover it up!!!! will it show? i mean, i smoked a joint in december and had a hair follicle test done in feb for the job i have now and i passed no problem, but this is a urine test and i smoked 10 days ago, i have been drinking water, a lot too, and peeing like crazy today, i also bought ine of those 48 hour miracle diet drinks that detoxifies ur body, but what esle can i do? I've recently tried commiting suicide by swallowing 13 tylenol pm's & xanax with it, so i was prescribed Lexapro 10mg, for major depression, ocd & anxiety. This is the first anti depressent i've been on, and Lexapro was okay for the first couple weeks, no side effects, helps me sleep at night, but i do not think it is really helping me for depression, but in the past couple days i've been feeling really hyper, like im going to jump out of my skin, i dont know if that is normal, is it? Thanks.

I have a coworker that has a terrible problem with it and it drives me crazy! It seems to only happen after he eats, but it lasts for about 2 hours, at least! I appreciate any help for a suggestion I could give him. I just want it to STOP!!

I know a person who is in recover for 5 years now. But theres still this stigma "once a drug addict always a drug addict!" Will he ever gai the trust issue from his family or co-workers, which as right now they don't even know that he is one. For fear that they may look at him as a different person. Guys, i am really really scared and depressed at the moment

It all started 2 weeks ago, i had a pimple in my nose and i bought this clearasil 10% benzoil peroxide, and umm i used that for 3 days and it still didn't go away so i started picking my nose with my nails, still nothing ...... then 2 days ago some1 told me put toothpaste
I did that, it burned a little but the pimple was still there, and then yesterday, it started vanishing little,
so... i had this detol, liquid antibiotic liquid soap i put that near my nose, and i put some cream on a band-aid and on my nose

left it there for 1 hr, and when i took it off, my whole nose area WAS BROWN !!!!!!

I was very scared, i tocuhed it at night and a little piece peeled off and i realised it wasn't my skin, it was pink. And when i touched it it kinda burned (not that much)

GUYS, should i panic, let the other brown stuff stay there, or peel that off to?

Im soo sad and depressed, and can't go outside because of this !

I've heard that a day or two before your birthday, you notice some changes in your body, like physical appearance. Or just some changes in general. Is this true?
Because my birthday is tomorrow, and I haven't noticed anything?

my prom is coming up and I'm wearing a white dress! I expect it the day before prom, and wow that would be so awful.... Prom is this saturday and I'm already feeling some cramping. Wow I wish there was something I could do.
I use pads because tampons dont work too well for me but ughh looks like I might need to use both :(

This is my relative. He is too young for alzheimers. He has a history of psychological problems and is on antidepressant but the psychologist said that would not cause memory loss and the psychologist thinks he is lying about it.
But my relative keeps forgetting things and I have witnessed this, I don't think he is faking and I am concerned. He forgets things I've told him, forgets things we've done together. He forgot his passwords. He does things he doesn't remember doing. I am seriously worried but the psychologist said there is no way he is telling the truth. Is there some condition that could be causing this? IF so, what?

Hi. This morning my granmother passed away. I know all of us have to deal with this at some point in our life, however I am 30 years old and I lived with her for over 20 years. In this case she is a 2nd mother to me. I am an only child and I have no other brothers/sisters to turn to. I understand there is no right way or wrong way to deal with bereavement. We all knew she was sick and she was even in hospital for some normal basic things a few days earlier but was sent home. She died in her chair most likely asleep, so this is much better than a painful death. I have recently got married and I am from England and she is from Vietnam. The only wish I would of had is to have a 2nd wedding in England for her to see it. Can anyone give me suggestions how to keep strong, help my single mother and cope with the feelings. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mark!!

On a red-eye that I took yesterday, I nearly fainted (and I have fainted before so I know what it feels like before you faint). Several minutes before I took Tylenol PM (one tablet, not two) to help me get some rest during the long flight. Now I'm wondering why I nearly fainted and if I should be concerned about it. I didn't eat much all day, so I'm not sure if it was that or the Tylenol or a combination of both.

My cheek suddenly went numb 3 days ago and has not been back to normal since. I did not experience any light headedness or anythin else at the time. I was just talking to a friend and it got almost completly numb over a period of about 10 seconds. It's freaking me out. Someone please help. I'm affraid I have MS or something. If metabolism decreases while you are sleeping and I sleep a certain number of hours, how come I lose more weight after sleeping than when i'm awake and doing nothing tiring with the same amount of time?
