My cheek suddenly went numb 3 days ago and has not been back to normal since. I did not experience any light headedness or anythin else at the time. I was just talking to a friend and it got almost completly numb over a period of about 10 seconds. It's freaking me out. Someone please help. I'm affraid I have MS or something. But i've alway been a hypochondriac. What could it be?

MS would be a completely different onset. You'd be more likely to have suffered a mild stroke. Check out Bell's Palsy after you call the doctor and make an appointment.

You should see a doctor and/or a dentist.

When my wisdom teeth were still years from coming in, the root was about to cut some nerves in my face. When I was in cold weather, part of my face would go numb. It's where the teeth were starting to put pressure on the nerves.

They had to very carefully take the teeth out. Not plesant, but much less worrisome than MS.

It might be something really simple, you just don’t want to take any unnecessary risk.

If you're really worried go see a doctor instead of asking on YA you will only get a bunch of different answers that might really freak you out.

It may even be Bel's Palsy, the only way you can be sure is to have a doctor check you out.

If it is confined to one side of your face it sounds like Bells Palsy. Here is a site that might help you a bit.

Go to your doctor. You could have something as simple as Bell’s palsy or something more serious.
