my prom is coming up and I'm wearing a white dress! I expect it the day before prom, and wow that would be so awful.... Prom is this saturday and I'm already feeling some cramping. Wow I wish there was something I could do.
I use pads because tampons dont work too well for me but ughh looks like I might need to use both :(

Sorry there is nothing you can do now to affect mother nature. Even if you did try something, it may not work quick enough to stop your period.

Just have some tampons/pads in a stash somewhere and change often.

If you are one birth control, keep taking the regular pills. Don't skip the week, or take the 7 days of different colored pills until after the prom. This is only safe for a few days though. Too many days variance can throw you body out of whack for a month or two afterwards.

If not on birth control, you can only double up coverage, using both a heavy duty tampon and a pad.

Also, try to avoid sex on prom night. It's a bad way to get yourself pregnant, trying to please your date. It's just as romantic later, when your older. It is sometimes a blessing to be on your period that day;)
