[In the United States alone, more than 16,000 people die each year due to NSAID-related gastrointestinal side effects and an additional 100,000 people are hospitalized.]

16,000 deaths PER YEAR?!?!

Forget the War on Terror. Maybe we should redirect our efforts to fight the "War on Tylenol, Excedrin, and Motrin".

A couple of years ago my dad was diagnosed with cancer. Since then he has had it another time. Now I find out that he is being tested for it the third time sometime next week. My questions is, is everytime you get cancer does it get worse? and does it have a better chance of killing the paitent? I'm just really worried about my dad and this is all I can think about right now. Anawers would be greatly appreciated.

I eat 1200-1600 calories daily to maintain my weight, but I was wondering, does when you eat matter? It might just be me, but I feel heavier this week'...I've been eating around 7pm...same amount of calories daily, though...
is it just in my head? does it matter if you eat alot of your calories (like 600, mainly made up of some meat, 1 1/2 cups rice, veggies) around 7pm-8pm? and sleep at 9-10pm? I've heard that it leads to weight gain, but some people say that it's irrelevant as long as you burn all the calories up...so which is the correct answer?

On ortho tricyclen lo, period comes a day or 2 early last 2 months, does that mean the pills not working properly? Does that mean I am actually ovulating? I don't have insurance so it would be really expensive for me to go to the Dr. to ask them. Has anyone had this happen before?

I was just diagnosed for the first time with allergies, hayfever, the doctor said it's trees, and pollen most likely. I was wondering, how long is the spring allergy season in Minnesota, and will I have allergies again this fall? I'm in the process of figuring out which medication works for my allergies, but don't know yet what works best. Also, I'm travelling to Florida, if I have allergies here, will I suffer when I'm down there as well, or will my symptoms go away? Thanks for any advice.

I am losing the enamel in my front tooth. Is there any tooth paste to restore that. I do grind my teeth at night so I do wear a mouth guard just not all the time. Is this the cause of it?

I’ve had trouble on and off for years with my legs hurting—at times it’s been so bad I’ve felt like crying. It seems I never know when it’s going to strike, but lately, it’s been happening more and more. I’m 33 years old, overweight but not huge. My grandmother had arthritis that started in her 70s, and she had really bad knees and leg and foot pain. I don’t think anything is swollen—just painful. Last night my legs hurt from the back of my thighs down to my feet. My feet were tingling also. But mostly my right leg, in the part below the knee, hurt SO bad I couldn’t stand it. I took aspirin, and it didn’t help, I put sore muscle/arthritis crème on it (Pain Buster), and neither made it feel any better. I was in agony. Today they’re still hurting some, esp. the right leg. Not as bad as last night, but still, it’s bothering me that they hurt all the time. I also get elbow pains and arm pain some, as I did last night also.

I did a bit more walking during the weekend, but it’s not like I’m normally inactive. I work at a desk, but I do get up and walk around the building several times a day, going up and down stairs also.

Has anyone had anything that sounds like what I have. Any ideas about what could be the cause or any suggestions as to anything to take, such as particular vitamins or anything to do to help? It would be greatly appreciated.

My 10 yr old daughter has an ongoing and consitant heart rate of between 120 and 180. I have taken her to a pediatric cardiologist who had holtz monitoring and cardiac event monitoring done for her to determine the problem. the holtz monitor revealed no abnormal heart functions just the high rate. I know that this is not normal and it scares me she has chest pains, gets dizzy and experiences heart palpitations and light headedness. I am not sure what else to look at they checked here for SVT and so far all they can tell me is that she has tachacardia. Im sure that prolonged time with her heart rate high like this will hurt her or damage her heart. Any suggestions of questions to ask the dr.

i had a p.a done and after few months "came out" (which was the piercers fault) because the ring was to thick which leaves me with a small hole at the back of my thingy head, but an ampallang piercing shouldnt affect that if i get it done , do u think i should go to a different piercer?
