Okay I'm a little germaphobic and I just came back from a sleepover with two other girls and one went home because she got sick. Does this sound like food poisong or a virus?

Here are the details:
her dad was sick monday
Her brother was sick yesterday
her mom was sick today
and now she's sick
she has two other sisters who have yet to be sick

now here's why my dad thinks it was food poisonig:
she seemed perfetly normal untill after we ate a snack then she looked sick and vomited with in half an hour. if it was a virus wouldn't of she felt sick? she only threw up once before she went home

I don't know of anyone outside of her family that caught it

please what do you think? I am scared to death I'm gonna catch it.

I never got it; people have told me repeatedly that I have "great legs", but I have no idea what that means. What makes legs look "perfect"? Is it the whole package? A little bit of muscle tone? Skinny legs, etc.?

I had a normal MRI but still have back and leg pain. Hurts my calf when bending, straigtening leg, driving. Dr thinks it is 2 different problems, I disagree. Anyone else had this.

I just found out last night that my mom was diagnosed yesterday morning with metastatic breast cancer to the hip. Her original breast cancer was diagnosed 1999. She had radiation, chemotherapy and surgery. In 2005, she was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer to the lungs. Near the end of her chemo, she contracted a blood infection which almost killed her. She had to stop treatments because the antibiotic she was on 24/7 through an IV was so strong she couldn't take her chemo at the same time, which in turn let more cancer spread in her lung. Since her first bout with lung cancer (minus the 3 months she was taken off for antibiotics) she has been on weekly chemo and herceptin IV drip once a week. I don't really know what I am asking here, but I'm just looking for some answers anyone has for anything she's been though. If she's been getting treatments for this long, and herceptin, which is a medicine to pretty much keep you in remission, why is it still spreading?

Why do some atheists/agnostics fear death as the cessation of consciousness (as opposed to dying), while others do not. Is it the structure of one's limbic system (emotional aspect of our brain) that determines whether one fears death as a finality or not. (Christopher Hitchens once said "our prefrontal lobes are too small, our adrenaline glands are too big.") Why are some non-theists threatened or fearful of final end of consciousness while others are not in the least?

I had one growth spurt and now Im currently 15. I know you cant grow more than what you are coded to be, but I want to know if theres any chance of growing or reaching your max height at a faster rate. My total cholesterol is 239, triglyecerides are 274, and LDL is 143. Can this condition make you FEEL like you have hypoglycemia? Why do I get shaky, sick, and feel like I am starving all of a sudden like my sugar is low when my blood sugar test turned out great? Do cholesterol and triglycerides give you the same kind of symptoms or is something else going on?

You always here about male enhancement on TV and the radio, things like Enzyte. It seems to me as though they are supposed to increase the size of Russel the Love Muscle to impress the lady folk, but I was wondering if that's all it's good for. I have reflux that is not responding to Protonix anymore. Doc says its non-acid reflux and wants me to try Reglan (5mg 3x a day) but Im really scared to try it after reading horrible experiences from people. I have had another doc and pharmacist tell me the drug can help and most likely wont cause anything serious but Im still really scared and dont know what to do.

I am having chest pain that has moved from one side to the other. I am going to explain exactly to the best of my ability . I am 24 years of age, and I am a smoker ontop of everything. I was sitting in my chair and leaned back in it cause I have terrible posture, and I started to feel a chest pain come about. I sat up cause I was trying to get rid of it and when I sat up it felt as if someone had stabbed me. I am now kinda dizzy headed, but I dont know if it is because I am about to have a panick attack or if this is something to really worry about. I am going to go with whatever you ppl tell me so come up with some kind of advice. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had one of these about 3 weeks ago i was awful first it started i was just shaky and then i walked around my work and went on the computer and i felt this incrediable fear come from my stomach all the way through my mouth it felt like a ghost took over my body i got up and ran down stairs and went outside my whole body felt like i was floating or numb it took about an hour to calm down after this. Any1 have one like this ive not had another 1 like this anymore the ones i have now are mini with just trembling and hyperventalating

okay on tuesday i am skipping school to go get a surgery on my two i-teeth. my baby teeth are still in there, one is loose a little, but what they have to do is this: first they have to give me anestetics. then, when im out, they have to pull out my baby teeth out, cut off some of my gums to expose the adult teeth, then they have to pull the teeth down. i have never had to do something like this, and i know it may sound really stupid but i am scared and if anybody has had to do this, tell me what it is like and how long will it hurt and when will the anestetics wear off (i dont really know if it makes a difference but the anestetics are what the doctor called "twilight anestetics") also, i have braces on and if you know how long it will be until they attach the brackets on my adult teeth, please tell me. if you know anything about anything i have just mentioned please post your answer (please, nothing rude, only serious answers) and thanks in advance!!! :)
