I went to the Dr. two weeks ago with a sore throat. Strep test was negative. I was given a steroid shot and a shot of penicillin. Felt great for 10 days. The last three days I have had the above symptoms and have started on an antibiotic. My throat and ear pain is so bad, tylenol and advil aren't helping.

I have been on depo for over a year and I really like it but the only problem that i have with it that I dont have regural periods but insted Im spotting, which wouldnt bother me that much if it wouldnt last forever. its little bit but for the longest time, and its getting really annoying. Thats why i was wondering if maybe it will be better for me to go back to the pill- i never had a problem with pill and i never missed one so im not scared. But im wondering if its not gonna messed up my hormons and even if i will do everything right i might get pregnant. I dont know how it works. Does anybody know?? thank you for respons :-)

I just started to walk 2 miles a day, I need to loose the fat on my stomach and love handles. So I have heard doing sit ups won't burn the fat only build muscle, so do you think I should wait to start doing a lot of sit ups now or wait until my fat is mostly gone and then do it?

I had a cerebral hemorrhage (bleeding stroke, not blood clot) at 8 weeks post-partum. My neurologist never figured out why--not high bp, not overweight, not over 40, etc. I had a normal pregnancy with no complications. I've been to several doctors, and none of them know if I am at risk for a stroke after next potential pregnancy. Does anyone else have any ideas?

looked carefully at the Nutrition Facts on both kinds, and it seems to me that the only advantage brown rice has over white is that it has more potassium. So, why is it better for us. Please don't give a silly answer like "Because I read it in a magazine." It may well be true. I just want to have an honest opinion from someone who really knows.

One rule is that you're not supposed to eat 4 hours before going to sleep.

Another is that you're not supposed to stuff yourself with big meals.

I don't know about you people, but if I want to not eat 4 hours before bed, I have to completely stuff myself at dinner. Otherwise, I have to eat something before bed, or I can't sleep because I'm so hungry!

Any advice at all will help. If it's advice on the eating, the getting to sleep... anything involving this will help.

Yeah I know it kills your brain cells and all, but usually mines pop right back up! Everyday me and my boss smoke a fadass blunt of kill bill before starting our shift and another blunt at break! Dealing with the customers at McDonalds piss us off, so weed help us control our anger. I dont smoke ciggarettes because of lung cancer. Then some preppy girl told me that it gives you lung cancer and I told her to shut the 4uck up rich ***** everyone else is happy and you still got that stick up your @ss! So can I really get lung cancer?

Here's a question from a nurse for nursing students and anyone who thinks they can correctly answer it: Every artery in the body carries oxygenated blood except for the two pulmonary arteries. Veins carry deoxygenated blood, so why isn't this blood carried by the pulmonary veins?
