I take synthroid every day too. No reason why you can't take ibuprofen. If you are taking generic Levothyroxin, I would strongly encourage you to pay the few dollars extra and go name brand on this drug. I think you will notice that the synthroid name works better. Don't think I am anti-generic either. In most cases there is nothing wrong with generic.

My physicians allow me to take levothyroxin and ibprophen. Just because I am able to do it, doesn't mean you can too. Always check with you doctor or pharmacist about any changes in medication, especially over the counter ones. It may just save your life.

You sure can! Then only thing you have to be leery about is taking cold medication alot of them warning if you have thyroid problems check with your pharmacist if you have a cold for which one you can take. But as far as a headache you can take the Ibuprofen or Excedrin with no problems.

I take it all the time and i'm on Levothyroxin too. I've never been told not to. But call the pharmacy just to make sure anyway...

yes you can my mother and myself are both on this medication and our doctor highly rcomended ibprophen for us as matter of fact im on a prescription strengh for a damaged knee

I take 150mcg and I'am also on 800mg of ibuprophen 3 x daily for multiple cysts in my wrist ,which I'm also in a cast for.No problems yet.

Yes, my daughter is on the same med as you and does fine with ibuprofen__advil, but her doctor told her not to take aleve
