A link to a site with a treatment guide would be great.
The dr allready diognosed me and i need some help with bringing down the fever.
also i have a fever/fever blister rash all over my body that might be because of the strep throat i have with it. Any ideas to help with the iching?

Yeah mono doesn't give you blisters honey, it's just a viral thing. That sounds more like strep. As far as the itching believe me I know where you're coming from. I had mono so bad I was in the hospital and my liver was trying to shut down. Pay close attention and you'll be feeling better soon. The itching is because of the toxins your liver can't get rid of right now because it's under attack. Because they have no where to go, the come out through your skin. It's totally normal. Also, try a baking soda bath, this will help, don't get it too hot though because that can irritate you. Also, stay away from sugar. Propel water is great it only has 1 gram of sugar in the whole thing. Sugar will make your liver and kidneys have to work harder and they are working hard enough already. Another thing you're going to get really tired. This is your body needing to rest. Sleep sleep sleep. Watch for your spleen to start hurting too if it does call your Dr. this can be a bad thing. Also, be careful not to give it to someone else. This can happen as easy as sharing a bag of chips or a bowl of popcorn. Eat really healthy too. Let me know if you have any questions at all . . . trust me I'm the master at this one :) twpiston@yahoo.com

yes, please get a cbc bloodtest to make sure you are not hemolyzing, destroying your blood, and to check for platelet count, both of which can drop drammatically w/mono.....
