im 24 and never got them, do u think they may still pop up. do some people just never get them, and if so why? i heard that the wisdom teeth were more useful thousands of years ago when early humans had to chew tough meats and things like that, but they are losing their importance now. maybe in a few generations people wont be bothered with them!

I normally sleep around 10-12 pm at night, and wake up at 7-8 in the morning. However, recently (last week), I have been sleeping at around 8--9 because I am so tired by then,, Then I wake up at 2-3 a.m., work/play for an hour or two, then go back to sleep. I find this unproductive. What can I do?

I am having some trouble with mild acne (mostly redness and old acne scars) and I am desperate to get rid of it. Someone recommended a beauty spa where they offer "Deep Pore Cleansing Facial" and "Herbal Acne Treatment" for $50 per treatment. Are these effective and worth the money and has anyone had any luck with this type of "treatment" for acne?

I sometimes have to photocopy tons of pages from books, and so it's a pain to lift the top of the photocopier up every time i process a page just so I can turn the page and do the same thing. So I just hold the book down with my hands, often staring at the green light which is emitted from the machine's lamp.

Is that light hazardous? It's hard to imagine it is because:
1) I've seen the people at photocopy stores doing it
2) If it was hazardous, it would have signs everywhere on it and there would be regulation about how to use it
3) SO FAR, I'm ok!!

Thanks (please don't post if you're just answering based on your intuition ... INTUITION AND self-derived deductive logic NOT WELCOME!!!!).

i know you can get a cold sores aka oral herpes. also you could transfer blood born diseases like HIV (but that is supposed to be very rare if not impossible right?) are there any diseases transferable through saliva that are very dangerous? obviously mono is one but say you already are immune also things like meningitis but if thats the case its a fluke you cant really assume people are walking around with meningitis. all this being said are there any other significant health risks to making out with someone you dont know very well?

I went into diabetic ketone acidosis in late Jan my blood sugar was 799. I have lost about 50 pound just by diet and excercise but for some reason twice a week I get up to around 270 and then I drop to 70 or under in less than a hour. They say theres nothing wrong with my meds.

I have been a 6-7 cups/morning of Starbucks French Roast coffee drinker for a few decades. Three weeks ago I abruptly cut my Starbucks to one cup, first thing in the morning and then switch to green tea. The benefits so far: no coffee stains on my teeth and no "jitters". And I haven't felt any adverse side effects (headaches, tiredness, etc.)

ok I spotted blood and NO its not menstral blood even though I already know the difference between the two. I had my period about two weeks ago, so it is definately not my period. Anyway I've noticed that I have frequent headaches lately. and I'm not a person who doesn't get headaches often either. Yeah I know I am definately going to the doctor to get checked, but I just want to know anyone who experienced similiar symptoms like mine.

I'm about 130lbs and about 5'5". I am 17 years old. I want to tone my muscles, especially on my arm. I want that muscular cut on your arm, i don't really know what's the right term for it, but it's when your arm is really cut and I guess tone. When I flex, I can see my muscles, but I want it to be toner so that it looks good even when I don't flex.

What should I do and for about how long to get this?

I am going on vacation in one month and have to lose some weight. I am a younger teenager. I'm not that "fat", but I have a bit of a tummy. What are some healthier vegetarian meal alternatives? How many calories per day? What are some breakfast, brown-bag lunch, and dinner ideas? Also some ideas for after-school snacks and light desserts?

food options must be vegetarian
(they may NOT contain meat, but may contain dairy/eggs)
