if i let pressure go i can hear better. but if i let it go too much it hurts one time it hurt so much it hurt my whole mouth even my teeth..i can cover my nose and suck air and put pressure in its all tight. i dont kno but this has happened ever since i was a kid..i can hear normally but what does this mean? i can let pressure in or out of my hear i can contr ol it is it some kind of disorder?

It is likely that you have something wrong with your eustation tubes in some way. You could go and see an Ear Nose and Throat specialist about the problem. They can put tubes in your ears or in the eustation tubes to open them up better.

Another thing that you could try before going off to the ENT doctor and spending a lot of money is buy some sudafed. You will probably have to go the pharmacy and sign for it. If the problem is swelling in your sinuses or eustation tubes it should relieve the pressure. If it does then you will have something to tell the ENT doctor about what has worked the best and he may have something in the form of an anti-inflamatory medication that may work even better.

Very likely your Eustachian tubes are clogging or being pinched from inflammation. If this is a temporary condition, just an antihistamine should work to allow you to equalize the pressures. I took Sudafed to correct a the equalization while scuba diving and wound up with ruptured ear drum. Many times the stuffiness is caused by an allergy. If you take a dose of prednisone, it should clear up. this is for a test only as steroids are not a long term solution for this.
