When you start new exercises, and if you develop aches and pains, do you rest for a few days and wait until you are OK to continue the exercise routine ?

Muscle needs time to heal in order for it to grow, so if your goal is to gain muscle, yes. If your goal is just to be in shape. Go ahead and continue to work out, you know your limits!

the best thing to do to relieve your aches and pains is to stretch it out. and a nice hot bath. alternate working out on your upper and lower body. this way your body will get the rest it needs. morning yoga classes are a really good way to start the day.

you personally are the only one that knows how far you can push yourself. if your muscles ache, try doing a less strenuous exercise. if it gets to be too much take a break and relax for a while.
