First calculate your basal metabolic rate. That is the number of calories it takes to keep you even in a typical day, without any extra exertion. I calculated yours and it is approximately 1400 calories. In order to lose weight within a sedentary lifestyle, you need to reduce your calories under 1400 a day or keep your calories at 1400 and burn extra calories by exercising. My advice, based upon many years of studying and reading everything I can about nutrition and exercise is to reduce your calories to 1200 or so (200 less than BMR) and burn an extra 100 a day. This will give you a net of 900 calories, you are saving 300 calories a day toward weight loss.
Remember, you can't go by the recommended daily allowance information on the back of food packages. These are based upon the average person (averaging men and women).
I find that if I replace my lunch with a nutrition bar, exercise a little 5 days a week and eat a sensible dinner, I will lose weight.
Good luck, enjoy that bikini body.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.
The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.
Get started today!

well, I think that if you want to weigh 120 (for example) you should consume 1200 calories a day. 130...1300 a day...and so on.
