I normally sleep around 10-12 pm at night, and wake up at 7-8 in the morning. However, recently (last week), I have been sleeping at around 8--9 because I am so tired by then,, Then I wake up at 2-3 a.m., work/play for an hour or two, then go back to sleep. I find this unproductive. What can I do?

You just have to get into a routine. I sleep at or around 9-10 PM and wake at 6:15 every day (except weekends)

Drink warm milk before you go to sleep. Try to keep a healthy sleep patter 9:30 p.m. to 7 a.m. Go to sleep at the same time everyday including weekend until you sleep pattter goes back to normal.

Your subconsciously getting ready for the time change Sat. night. You're body is preparing itself, that's my theory anyway! Remember we will loose an hour when you go to bed, where you are normally getting up at 7 you will now be getting up at 6 when you set your clock Sat night. I myself, my husband and several others I know are experiencing the same thing. We have to adapt to the man-made time change I guess there must be a reason for it??.
