it happens to so many people...do why arent we more open about it? it would be so much easier for survivors if people talked about it as a regular thing, insted of keeping the topic hidden.

how long did it take you or some one you knwo to get past rape/molesation trama?

why do fathers, uncles, and grandfathers rape girls in their family?
i coudl understand mayeb if it was a stanger because you will never see them again, btu with a family member the event is unforgettable.

were they depressed after what happened to them?

and how did you/they get over all of it?

have never been a very helping person and when I think I will try to help somebody it turns out that they don't want what i think they need or am giving them, or they don't even seem to appreciate it at all, sometimes they even thank others, it just seems like a waste of time to try to help people, I am not a selfish person, I would really help if I thought it would do any good.

I was reading a book in bed and a very small spider craweld across the page, almost too tiny to see. Since I have been experiencing bites from something on my legs I immediately smashed it in the page of the book. It was preserved enough for me to put a magnifiying glass over it to see what it was. It was so small I could barely make out more than that it was a spider. I think it was brownish, but not real sure. Can anyone tell me what this is, and if it might be the source of small bites on my legs?

My lower back is killing me! Bend a certain way, getting in and out of the car, lifting my legs (putting on pants, etc.), stabbing pain right at the bottom of my back. It doesn't feel muscular, but almost like it could use a good crack. Does anyone with a back problem know if this COULD be a slipped or herniated disk, artheritis, or what??? If it could be something the dr. will just say I have to live with, then so be it. I just wonder if anyone has these symptoms and what I might be facing ahead. If it's worse tomorrow, I will have to go to urgent care and get it checked.

I was practicing my smile wednesday, and my right cheek felt sore the next day, the part that tingles when you eat something sour. This morning (friday) , my cheek muscle and partial neck muscle near my throat glands were swollen. I've taken tylenol and put ice on it, but it's still swollen. The tylenol relieves the pain, but i have to keep taking it. Will the swelling stop? Could this be serious? I don't want to see a doctor if this is minor.

When you cough up the mucus but swallow, does it go back into your lungs or does it go into your stomach? I try not to swallow but it's an automatic reflex. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have had these itchy bumps for a week now and they didn't itch at first, but now they itch like CRAZY!! I had been to the doctor and took a blood test and they are not chicken pox. I didn't eat anything that I don't usully eat. I've been using the same detergant for years now. I am a very clean person and don't go a day without taking a shower. I mostly never wear the same clothes without washing them. I am not allergic to my animals neither am I allergic to anything else except for poison ivy, but it's not that. They aren't bug bites or pimples.

HELP I have no idea what they could be! They are spreading and itch. I take 2 benadryl and it's not itchy. I'm very worried about what it could be and I don't like not know what is wrong with me. If there's anyone that can help me you imput is GREATLY appriciated! =D
