I want to quit smoking so bad. I've tried everything and nothing seems to work. IAt night I get so stressed out as soon as I lay down and cry and really feel like I can quit, but right away in the morning I run to my purse for a smoke. I don't even like smoking anymore and don't understand why this is so hard for me. Instead of banning smoking in businesses why can't they just ban selling them in counties? Oh that's right-they make millions in tax money from cigarettes!

Huntington's Disease is an incurable fatal genetic disease that attacks the nervous system. My mother is in the last stages of the disease. It is heart-breaking to watch her go from an active exuberant person to one who cannot walk or speak. I have a 50-50 chance of inheriting it from her. I have no plans on ever having children, so that is not an issue. There is a simple test that I can take to see if I will get it when I'm middle aged (I'm 25 right now). If you were me, would you get tested?

Seriously... if there was a vaccine against AIDS, I'm sure some of you would still complain... However, no matter what you tell your children some of them are going to have sex anyways. Might as well protect them against a virus... that causes CANCER...that causes infertility and even death? Right? Or I'm just an oddball? If I could step back in time, I'd give myself the vaccine in a heartbeat. Better safe than sorry.

Really... some kids are going to have sex anyways, and the vaccine is most effective when given before puberty/menstruation starts. Even if your kids end up staying abstinant theres still a chance of catching the disease after marriage.

I'm coming out the movies when all of a sudden, everything I see has to do with a 69!
example:
my car now has 69111 miles.
Gas for my car is $2.69 a gallon.
The license plates of the car in front of me was 654. 5+4=9... 69
When I look at how fast I was going I was going 69 mph.
Lastly, when I look at the radio, it was 6:54! once again 5+4=9 thus having the # 69 again...

I then think to myself, is this a symbol? Why does everything I see right now equal 69? Please, someone help me!!!

My hubby says, its Icy Cold -like its been in the fridge!I feels numb and sort a tingly to me; but it is blown up.(25% fatter than my other foot) Unlike the other one; my ankle bone is NO longer visible.The only thing that looks normal are my toes and those I can feel. It its filled w/ fluid - What can it be??

I have an issue. I have had great eyesight up until about a few months. Now i find that things are blurry at times and i have to squint sometimes to see especially far away.. Do i need glasses? what is causing this or what is it? I have an appt with eye doctor in march.

The evening is when I become most aware of how lonely I feel. Thoughts of ending things usually occur at night and are gone by morning. So, I wonder if there is some trend among suicide victims that shows more suicides at night than in the day time...

It looks kind of like a heart... but that has nothing to do with anything. okay, what I know is, it is red, smooth spots on my skin, like a permanent blush. It is on my upper thigh. It is jokingly referred to as a sharkbite, but I don't know if that is done elsewhere, or if it just a family thing. I've had them since birth, and they are apparently usually smaller, and fade by the time a person is a few years old. I would love to know what it is actually called, preferably before shorts season this year (starts in about 2-3 weeks where I live) because I am tired of people asking, and me not knowing.

ok so i rolled my ankle forward 2 weeks ago playing volleyball and i have been icing it and have kept a brace on it since then and its still really bruised and swollen.....i think though i keep on making it worse bc im still playing volleyball on it...but that is only bc my team needs me or we have to forfit...what should i do.....quiting volleyball is not an option
