The best thing at any age is WATER. I know that sounds boring but it is the truth. As we age we need just as much water as before, if not more.
I put three bottles of water in the fridge and try to drink all 3 every day. Drinking other things help but have sugar, caffeine, added preservatives, salt and so on added to them. What we really need is just the H2O. If you can't stand the water try adding some flavoring such as lemon, limes or powdered drink mix.
Good Luck!

Fish oils, which contain Omega 3 fatty acids, may be helpful. Another supplement is emu oil.
There are also other remedies like moisturizing a few times per day, drinking enough water, shortening your time in the shower that helps ensure that your skin stay hydrated.
I am an eczema sufferer and found the tips in this newsletter pretty useful - you may wish to check it out - http://www.eczematreatmentsecrets.com

Vitamin E is not a bad vitamin to take for overall health, but don't expect anything dramatic.
And please DO NOT buy in to infomercials, or any other product that promises anything extraordinary.
I have the same problem and using a petroleum-based lotion along with buying a whole-house humidifier helps a lot. And it's a much better use of your money than some infomercial airing at 2 A.M.

I take this supplements as well as my mother and we combine it with using the skin care system and our skins are looking great. I am 36 and my mom is 68 and we both get lots of compliments.
If you are interested to get a sample of the skin care system email me.

My dermatologist recommends dove soap or cetafil and vaseline intensive care lotion. I know low thyroid can also come about more likely as we get older =) and a symptom of that is dry skin..
