not unless a doctor advises it. using one eye causes eye strain, and can damage, not improve vision. if, however, you have what is referred to as lazy eye, a doctor may use the noe-eye method to help the eye muscles develop properly so both eyes work properly.
exercising muscles do not improve vision if they vision is caused by such things as lens limitation, or even eye shape.
if you have trouble seeing, get your eyes examined by an optometrist. if anything else is wrong, he'll notice it and give you a referrel to someone able to treat it.

do you have an eye that drifts or turns? Have u had an exam? This only works if you have amblyopia, or lazy eye, and must be diag. correctly and the use of specs and/or patching of the "bad" eye will, in fact improve the vision of the other eye. However, treatment must begin before the age of 9yrs. usally, and best if before the age of 6yrs. due to the development of the optic nerve. This is the simplist , shortest, version. Hope this encourages you to get an an eval.

i have heard that in some countries when one eye is bad they cover the good one so u use the bad one, and it gets better slowly. it is possible, but it depends on what is wrong with ur eyes and how good the vision is. i was legally blind in my left eye, until i did that and now my vision has improved by 35 pts, because i forced my eye to focus and read.
